Question

So I play mostly on mobile, i decided to upgrade tesla and I'm beginning to like it, seems it has a high skill cap to master and good outplay potential.

 

I'm curious on why there isn't a radar on the mobile version, since I'm using a mele turret I feel like I'm a bit exposed and players often pop up behind me.

Ok I can understand that but it's a disadvantage vs experienced player making use of it.

To be honest, I barely if ever hear of players who use the radar. From my own experience, it's quite distracting to look to the bottom of your screen every few seconds or so.

If you ask me, that's impossible to implement in mobile. Yes, it is a disadvantage, at least if we consider your opinion but adding it will only make the UI a lot more messy and congested.
Playing Tanki in a 6 inch screen or so is itself a disadvantage at the first place. ?

How about just integrating the radar itself into the gameplay screen.  

For example itll show a indicator or arrow at the edge of the screen where enemy is? That would kinda solve the whole clutter issue.

Many fps games have similar features when you're taking dmg , itll point in the direction its comming from. But instead , here we'll use it as small distance pseudo radar to accommodate the small screen size.

@FX011 how about hornet OD it's not a long term use but if have upgraded driver you recharge it very fast?

After they reworked round destabilization I switched hulls. I now use Paladin with rail/tesla.
