Why is the bottom of the madness map removed?

Hello, the old version of Madness map was removed due to uncontrollable self-destruction when players tried to correct themselves in the air while jumping off the platforms.

I believe it was to reduce hacking or triggering the anti cheat system.

Wasn't it removed because the owner of the madness map didnt allowed the company to use his creation anymore so they had to rework it?

They can simply increase the unlock rank for Madness. And mostly no one will take risk of his high account to use hacks

I think you may be thinking of Platform, which was removed at the request of the creator because he wanted to make changes that the developers did not agree with.

Are you talking about Madness? I don't think that they changed it because of copyright; I'm not even sure how exactly copyright would apply to map designs.

Interesting. The original notes for the change say the following:

NOTE: We’ll also be making an important change to the Madness map. From tomorrow, the bottom floor of this map will be permanently removed to avoid long and boring falls. This was done with with the approval of the map’s original designers.

My guess is that the developers wanted to remove the bottom floor, and the original designer gave permission. Then the designer did not permit any further changes.

Coryright works like this, if you take 100% of something, you need to have the approval of the creator, if you don't have his approval, then you need to change it to keep it. What i think is that they needed to change it so they could keep it without his approval (if they change it then it becomes a modified product), and by the way, if they change it, they would prevent self destructing a bit too.
