What are your thoughts on this turret? Share your opinion!

 

Description:

A special turret made for a 2022 New year celebrations.

You had an oportunity to try it out in the special Snowball fight mode and then, a week later it was made available for select helpers and youtubers in the Catch the snowman! event. Players could earn 3 normal and 3 ultra containers by destroying such snowman tank.

The turret acts like a short to middle range mortar, applying stun, armor piercing and jammer effect on critical hit. This effectively made it the first turret to apply 3 status effects at the same time.

Rumours have it that a turret with similiar mechanics is being developed for normal play.

Add Emp and Burning to that and it will be perfect for the new Turret that is being developed for normal play. 

A breath of fresh air for balanced and fun gameplay. I can't wait for its release, so I can write "wow very cool new turret " on the new Topic.

Well I believe the new turret is supposed to be a ´´short range magnum´´. I do not think it will have 3 status effects like the snowman turret did. 

Probably just status effect augments like we see on other turrets, but of course, that is too soon judge right now.

This turret was pretty cool, I think they should make more special turrets like this for events. Is it OP? I definitely think it wasn't, the rate of fire with Viking overdrive however, was

Agree, I have also got the inpression it was somewhat of a joke turret. It was fun, but If the new unreleased artilery turret will really behave similarly, I do not think I would be very inclined to buy it.

I'm sure it would be a little more powerful if it was a real turret, but yes, it wouldn't be strong enough in the current form I think. But I like these joke turrets like b0-nk and "Smowman's head", definitely fun for events :)

it's probably going to be a mortar that allows you to loop shells over high obstacles to hit targets that are hiding, but with a different loop of the shell, with magnum you could do the same thing by bringing the gun upwards vertically compared to the ground.
