A very happy and good news to all parkour lovers!

After quite a long time, the physics of the current version (the new HTML5) of Tanki Online were fixed for parkour yesterday, 11 February 2022! ? ? ? ? ✌️

More information about it can be found from 5:52 to 7:14 in Tanki's v-log 330.

And now that the developers have fixed the physics for parkour, you may want to check some videos posted by our community's parkour clubs in 2021 for whatever reason, find them all here: https://en.tankiforum.com/topic/394641-all-our-parkour-videos-of-2021-in-one-topic/. Happy parkouring! ?‍♂️

For those who found it difficult to parkour because it was not possible to chat to players in the other team, and to everyone in general who disliked it, good news, they have re-enabled the ability to chat between teams today as part of the Patch Update #695. So open the game and try parkouring with your friends in the old way again!

We (and I think others did too for different reasons) requested them to make this change, it is quite significant for the parkour community as it makes it easier to socialize within the game itself and that in turn can help parkour grow

Hello everyone! ?

I'm very pleased to introduce the "Parkour Rules", the "Parkour Club Support Program", and the "Official Parkour Club Program" to you through this announcement. I just published the Parkour Rules and launched the Parkour Club Support Program and the Official Parkour Club Program! ? ? ?

The Parkour Rules will become effective on 7 December 2023. The Parkour Rules, the Parkour Club Support Program, and the Official Parkour Club Program are made for all locales, but it was decided to currently only implement them in our locale, the EN locale, and implement them in other locales later. My plan is to discontinue the Parkour Club Rules, the Parkour Club Support (previously named "Parkour Clubs Support"), and the Requirements for Official Status when the Parkour Rules becomes effective ?

The following forum topics were just published:
https://en.tankiforum.com/topic/395377-parkour-rules/

On 7 December 2023, because the Parkour Rules will become effective and the Parkour Club Rules and the Requirements for Official Status will be discontinued, I will remove the official status and the official parkour club paints from all the official parkour clubs of the EN locale. And on the same day, because the Parkour Rules will become effective and the Parkour Club Support will be discontinued, I will remove all the supported parkour clubs from the Parkour Club Support (supported parkour clubs are only in the EN locale)

And please note that one reason why I decided to make the Parkour Rules effective only some time after it was published is so that I can see what everyone thinks about the Parkour Rules. Everyone can send their feedback, complaints, ideas, suggestions, questions, etc. about the Parkour Rules here, and I may update the Parkour Rules according to them if needed either before or after the Parkour Rules becomes effective

As announced, the following things happened yesterday, 7 December 2023:
- The
Parkour Rules became effective
- The
Parkour Club Rules, the Parkour Club Support, and the Requirements for Official Status were discontinued
- The official status and the official parkour club paints were removed from all the official parkour clubs of the EN locale

I did not remove all the supported parkour clubs from the Parkour Club Support yesterday, 7 December 2023, as announced, because it was decided that doing so is not needed as discontinuing the Parkour Club Support is enough to make all the supported parkour clubs no longer a supported parkour club or a part of the Parkour Club Support

Also, because the Parkour Club Support was discontinued, I removed all the leaders of all the supported parkour clubs from the Parkour Club Support Discord server yesterday, 7 December 2023, and I removed the Parkour Club Spectator accounts from everyone today, 8 December 2023

The Parkour Club Support Program Application and the Official Parkour Club Program Application will be opened very soon, each of them will be opened on different dates, the dates will be announced in this forum topic

To all former supported parkour clubs, thank you very much for being a part of the Parkour Club Support! And to all former official parkour clubs of the EN locale, thank you very much for being an official parkour club of the EN locale! ?

I just assigned the following Support Levels to the following Supported Parkour Clubs:

Support Levels are assigned solely based on the total number of videos (only videos that are related to Parkour and are at least 1 minute long) each Supported Parkour Club has on their YouTube channel(s). Congratulations to them! ?

The Threshold Assessment Score is confidential and intended only to be known to the Administration. More information about the Threshold Assessment Score can be found here."
  • Added "5.1.18. Official Clubs are reset once every year in all locales before the Official Parkour Club Program Application is opened. In other words, the Official Club of each locale is removed from the Official Parkour Club Program before the Official Parkour Club Program Application is opened each year. After all the Clubs that applied to join the Official Parkour Club Program in a locale and the Official Club of a locale are assessed and scored, the Club with the highest Combined Assessment Score can become the new Official Club of a locale if approved by the Community Manager of the locale.
