pick up flags

Recommended Posts

MM battles are no longer balanced!, but the worst of them is " capture the flag" , especially with fast tanks and drones!.

That's why I suggest this idea: When you want to take a flag, you need time! For example: If you enter an enemy area and pass a flag, you have to wait a time (three seconds for example), and when the time is up you pick up a flag, Even if you are destroyed, you will need another 3 seconds to pick up a flag again, and this can be applied to a flag retriever, even recovering a flag will take time.

This may make the battles end at the end of time and not by collecting all the flags, because this is a mode that ends in just 5 minutes.

My greetings!

I do agree with you about the problem. However, I'm not sure if this is the right solution to the situation - this solution is not going to be enjoyable to any attacker, CTF will become a very annoying mode to play. On top of that, it will be extemely difficult to win such battles.

This won't solve the balance issue. It will simply make it harder to capture all flags, meaning that the groups with 9999 GS tanks and powerful augments will take a bit longer to capture 7 flags, while the weaker players, who were just about able to capture a flag previously, will now be unable to capture flags at all.

The flag captures will just go from 7-1 to 4-0. Same result. Meanwhile on some maps where capturing flags is already next to impossible, a score of 0-0 would be pretty much guaranteed with this change.

Also, quite a few players actually prefer to have battles finish early, since it allows them to earn stars faster.
