Patch Update #698 - Released 26th August 2022

 

  • New skin added to the updated Ultra Containers — Scorpion XT

  • The «Scorpion» turret added to the regular Containers in «Epic» category. With this update, your current and regular Containers will become old regular Containers. You can only get Scorpion from containers you obtain after the release.

  • Tesla

    • Critical damage chance increased from 12% to 16%

  • Gauss

    • Critical damage decreased from 665-1330 to 580-1160 HP

    • Critical damage chance increased from 12% to 16%

    • Damage in sniping mode decreased from 900-1800 to 850-1700

    • Reload time sniping mode increased from 4.2-2.8 to 6.6-4.8 s.

    • Aiming time decreased from 3-2 to 1.5-0.6 s.

    • Aiming recovery time decreased from 0.7 to 0.6 s.

    • Range of max damage increased from 60-80 to 80-100 m.

    • Range of min damage increased from 80-120 to 120-150 m.

    • Weak damage percentage increased from 25% to 50%

    •  «Electromagnetic salvo» and «Armor-Piercing Salvo» augments can now apply status effect not only with salvo shots but with critical damage too

    • (Note) Gauss will significantly change after this update, and here is why. Gauss was supposed to be a mobile sniper. Instead, we got a version that needs to stop and stand in a place for a long time to aim. Aiming in movement takes time, and the target hold time is too short. We got this version after a batch of changes that were needed to fix other problems. For example, when we added augments for this turret, we wanted players to use the turret this way: you deal most of the damage with a salvo shot and finish them with an arcade shot. Therefore, a variant with a long reload after a salvo was not used, because then the status effect would definitely finish before the turret reload. Now for all status-related augments, we add an option to apply status effects with critical shots, randomly, and you can still apply it guaranteed (for example, with a pellet from the last shot of Hammer or with a salvo of Gauss). Thus, it became possible to implement the combination with finishing opponents in the reverse order. First, the enemy receives critical damage with a status effect applied, and then you finish them with a salvo. Thanks to this model, now the Gauss turret can be returned to the original idea of being a mobile sniper. It will not take much time to aim and shoot a salvo, but the reload time got increased. If earlier Gauss was similar in gameplay to Shaft, now it will be more like Railgun. With an interesting addition. If a player carefully monitors the amount of damage dealt to a target and the use of the «Repair kit» supply, then the player will always be able to make the right decision when to finish the target with a salvo and safely retire for a long cooldown.

  • Shaft

    • Range of max damage increased from 60-80 to 80-100 m.

    • Range of min damage increased from 80-120 to 120-150 m.

    • Weak damage percentage increased from 25% to 50%

  • Game modes

    • The number of points your team gets for capturing a flag in the Assault (ASL) mode increased from 6 to 10

    • (Note) After adding a huge delay before removing a destroyed tank from a map, it became easier to defend your base in this mode. Increasing the number of points for an attacking team should compensate for this.

  • PRO battle chat improvements

    • Removed the following chat channels for the PRO battle formats: 

      • Classic

      • Railgun

      • Sport

      • Parkour

    • When you enter the game, the «General» chat channel is opened by default

    • When you leave a PRO battle, the «General» chat channel is opened by default

  • Mammoth’s overdrive can now move destroyed tanks

    • (Note) To make this overdrive work as it is designed to work, we decided to add a feature of throwing away destroyed tanks when in contact with them. This looks so epic, you can now juggle with enemy tanks.

  • The «Jack-in-the-box» effect now also appears when finishing an opponent with Chaos damage

    • (Note) Did you think that we added Chaos damage to add protection from overdrives later? Huh! We just enjoy how cool it looks when turrets fly.
