I defected, and now I'm on the other team, but my progress in the missions didn't reset to zero, so now I can't get Helios. It says specifically that all personal progress is reset to zero. Is this supposed to happen?

If you switch teams, yes, your progress will be reset.

@rapon Yes, I know it's supposed to reset, but now my missions are still at 12/24, but since I switched teams, my test tubes reset, but not my missions, so now I can only get 12 tubes without using crystals or tankoins.

@scar987 If you bought the event pass just for helios you wasted your tankcoins, helios is not worth it after the nerf, go for vacuum shells instead.

IMO it is still strong. Not as broken as it was before the reload nerf, but still going strong. ^.^

Honestly? If your Ricochet is leveled up, I'd say go ahead. I got it from the Summer Fund for 990 TKs and it's the Fund augment I use the most. You're also getting Vulture Mk7, crystals, containers, and a skin container. It's better than spending on the BP anyway.

okie thanks. i'm thinking about buying it on one of my main accounts to try out vacuum thunder and another side account that i will main ricochet so i thought i'd ask!

Both are definitely worth using if you upgrade them. Vacuum Thunder has a higher skill barrier but is very effective and satisfying once you get the hang of it.

What summer fund are you talking about? Sorry I just came back to this game after I left 5 years ago and I couldn't fund any event called summer fund in the news archives.

I had 14 test tubes with me, then I switched to the second team, then I collected 3 test tubes. When I entered the site, I found that the total number of tubes I collected is 3. Where are the 14 tubes?? It must be 17. What is the reason?  And with their memory they said: When the player changes his faction, all test tubes obtained by the player from the beginning of the event are transferred to the new faction with the player

 yeah, transfered to the new faction... but it didn't say anything about you keeping them for your personal progress...

When I changed teams, the change took a while to show, might have been a couple of hours

Skin containers are the only way to get DC skins so I think its worth it.

ok so I found this semi inconsistency:
This sentence comes first:

Quote

When a player changes faction, all Test Tubes that a player earned from the start of the event are moved to the new faction together with the player.

And this sentence at the end:

Quote

At the moment of a faction change, the player's personal progress is reset to zero. Test Tubes earned before the faction change are not taken into account in the player's personal progress, and completed tasks are marked as incomplete.

I can completely see how it mislead people.
from the first sentence it's completely understood that tube progress will remain, and second cancels is. That's pretty misleading
