from the first sentence it's completely understood that tube progress will remain, and second cancels is. That's misleading

They tried to make it clear but worded it very badly. I can see why it was confusing but it was also explained multiple times.

ok so I found this inconsistency:

I don't see any inconsistency at all.

From what i understand, let's suppose that you have 18 test-tubes and you are in the "zombies" faction. Now you want to change faction, You are moved to the "immunes" faction and your test-tubes are also moved to the "immunes" faction's account. Now the "immunes" faction has 18 additional test-tubes.

However, your test-tubes are now reset to 0. You have to grind them all back in order to get all your rewards.

I have a question,

I completed all individual tasks and was originally in the Immunes. I changed to Zombies literally 10 mins before server restart and I knew very well that my personal progress would reset but I decided that Freeze Legacy would be worth more than the rewards (already have Helios and Vacuum shells and don't need other rewards).

However, I'm worried that as my progress is now on 0 now that the event has ended, I won't get Freeze Legacy.

So what I'm asking in short is, "If you're on the winning team, do you need to have Test Tubes to qualify to get Freeze Legacy?"

If you actually managed to switch, it means it happened during the event, otherwise you wouldnt have been able to buy the switch team offer. Thats how I see it, so you should be getting the skin

No I meant because I switched to zombies, I have 0 test tubes, and I'm asking if I need test tubes to qualify to get freeze legacy.

I see what you're saying, but this should have been written altogether, if the second sentence wasn't written you'd be 100% sure your personal progress will remain, it literally says the tubes are moved to the new faction together with the player, leading people to believe they keep their tubes.
Anyways, instructions should be fool proof, as you can see, some people misunderstood and ironically paid twice, once for the entrance and once for defector only to realise their progress is lost.

several players and maybe more than several have made the same mistake there, it wasn't 100% clear and there should have been warning messages before resetting the progress, in fact, the warning was needed before purchasing the defector.
IMO, definitely not enough was done to prevent this misunderstanding, I'd be very upset if my progress was reset unintentionally.
