People who disconnect unexpectedly should for a time, keep the mines they laid when they rejoin or at least have them re-imbursed.

Honestly, I have great fibre-optic broadband and we know full-well that people get disconnected for reasons out of their control all the time. Sometimes it's even Tanki's end.

Using Saboteur (for example) is expensive as heck already, losing 50+ mines just due to a random fart on the internet highway and then having to replace them is incredibly unfair, demotivating, and can completely alter the course of the whole battle for all concerned. I now purchase far fewer mines, as it's likely I will lose a good portion of them.

I would suggest that the player has 60 seconds (or some other time that is perhaps somewhat less than the time allotted for rejoining the battle and retaining their score) to rejoin and if they do so, either the mines remain in-place or the lost mines can be found back in their inventory. But NOT if they don't re-join.

@PirateSpider It's unfair on the other team to have to deal with mines and no ability to kill the person that laid them. IMHO The game should give the mine-owner some lee-way if he/she can rejoin rapidly, but no more than that. Tanki devs may disagree of course.

Mines isn't important to me since well i barely use them in battle. 
But i do see your point tho, any saboteur drone camper if he disconnects, he losses his entire mines on the field and leaves his team defenseless. Could be a good idea

You could even have a system where the person that disconnected loses 1 random mine per second..  there's a few options how it could be handled and make it better.

Or 1 mine every 10 seconds.

I have been thinking about that too today but instead lets make it depend on the number of mines have remained untouched before the user disconnected. For example:

•6-10 mines = 1 mine gets removed every 20 seconds

•11-15 mines = 2 mines get removed every 20 seconds

•16-20 mines = 3 mines get removed every 20 seconds

Sure, it could be expressed as a % of your total mines every x seconds. Regardless of the total number. Defnitely one option.

The amount of times the game kicks you all mines should be saved for at least 1 min every time you are kicked and if you can't reconnect, then 50 mines should be added to your account as compensation, that goes for all supplies with maybe the exception of nuclear energy, only 1 of them should be given back.

I have lost out on a lot of supplies because of getting kicked from battles, so this amount imo is fair.

Well, it's kinda hard to tell if the player left because of error or their internet connection, but yeah. Mines should stay for 1-2 minutes. Honestly for me it should be 3 minutes. And if somebody stepped on them or/and killed, there should be a small notification which informs about getting points when you were temporarily out of the battle about getting it by a mine ?
