How to Get Max and Full Garage as Free Player

After so long time in tanki from 2012 to 2022, and collected my last piece of puzzle as "functional" "purchasable" item in tanki.
I reached Max and Full Garage in tanki as Free player,

Define What is Full Garage:
  * "functional": means the item makes damage, or protection or immune.
  * "purchasable": means the item can be bought by Crystal or Tankicoin

Technically includes:
  * All turrets with Max Mk and MUs
  * All turrets augments that purchasable available in garage (duplet is buyable, while jam hammer is not)
  * All hulls with Max Mk and MUs
  * All hull immunes (purchable in tankicoins, but free player rely on lucky container)
  * All drones with Max Mus
  * All modules with Max Mk and MUs

(Of course, strong player can extend to include all Status Effect augment and full skin set, which technically possible with new skin container in challenge and increased containers in challenge)

Lucky items is not counted here,
  * like container only augments, criss, amodino
(even though most of us got from time to time in funds or challenge or luck.)

As the keypoint is

How Far a free player in tanki can go from pure hardwork.
  * crystal can be easy part, which means all turret/hull/drone/module are easy
  * tankicon can be hard part, as free player dont get much tankicoin to buy hull immues
  * Hardwork+luck = Container, is only solution for free player get hull immues

 

Part 1: Crystal part, How Long take to save a set of Max Combo
  * in old day 2012, it take me 1.5 year to save Rail + hornet to M3 (old max) and another year to 2 max paint (3+3x 50% protection)
  * after that, it take me 1 year to MU max Isida+Titan+Twins+Viking (2 turret + 2 hulls max)

in 2022, the crystal is much better, in 1 year, based on my alternative account
I can have 2 hulls+2 turret + 4 modules + 2 drones (include brutus) to max from recruit to legend

Tips:
  * use all sales available, especial 50% in xmas, tanker day and tanki birthday and black friday
  * don't buy any augment+hull resistance, you can get them in container when you really dont want them
  * don't buy any drone, you will get almost all the drone from container in 1 year time
  * before legend, not much point use other drone except Miner drone to help finish mine kill mission for containers
  * Miner drone is cheap and useful for both mission and defence as free players
  * use Jam immu hulls with Miner drone if possible.

 

Part 2: Tankicoin part, How to use Tankicoin as free player,
  * now challenge has no more augments, only lucky container
  * so I wouldn't recommend any challenge purchase before reaching legend rank
  * Tanki fund is proven to be most valuable use of tanki coins
  * after legend rank, if the event is prove valueable, maybe can buy event pass for OP augments

 

Part 3: How Lucky and How Long to get what you want from lucky container:
  * I think above, all of you know already
  * here is some statics I mark through past 2 years of data (2021+2022)

Epic purple color reward:
  * cry = crystal, battery (make me cry literally)
  * shot = shot effects (if that is your thing)
  * pt = paints (I know we had enough already)
  * aug = augment + hull immues
Gold:
  * animated paint + OP augments
Red:
  * skins + super OP augments

Here is How many useful rewards each Month

(from all the Free Container+ultra containers, Jun+Dec is high because tanki birthday and Xmas)
  * overall, we can say, tanki reward is getting better as time goes.

It took me 2 year+ to clear all hull immues, (include help of challenges with hull immues)

Final words

 

it is far easier life for new tankers in 2023 than tanker in 2012-2015.
I still remember it takes me 8 month to save 500k crystal,
while nowadays you can earn that amount in high ranks in less a month.
with all the container un-welcome crystal rewards.

 

However, we all know new tankers in 2023 will suffer the same mount of pain when facing Pulsar augments while we face old drug 123 buyers.

 

in the end, we all make to GS 9999, and call it a day. (unless tanki make more GS items, who knows)

I am already tired after so many years in tanki,
