Topic Starters Should Have Control Over Their Own Topics

Hi,

So I've come across a lot of topics on this forum and I've noticed a ton of answered topics. However, what I believe is many of them aren't answered however. So what my question is: Can you please let Topic Starters(whoever it is) decide if their questions are answered or not, and not letting a helper/moderator/admin decide if they should mark comments as answers. Generally helpers/mods/admins just have the ability to checkmark whatever they see as the "right/best" solution. However that's not the case, many questions don't have solutions and I just do not like how helpers/mods/admins just check off the topic and mark one of the comments and closes the topic(which it prevents others from commenting). I think until a question on this forum has been "answered" correctly and not just "the best/fit answer" the topic should remain open. I have had a few topics where it was closed because it was the "best" answer, but that does not mean it was the "right" answer.

 

I think tanki should start giving users power on what they can do to their topics and not just mods who they think should "stay open" or "answered and closed."
