issue

when i use the browser version of tanki it works but lags a lot so i downloaded tanki to play that way instead and it works perfectly fine high frames and everything but i do 0 damage ive restarted it over and over even waited quite a few hours and still do no damage and no damage number comes up enemy health bar stays the  same im sure from the enemy pov it doesnt even seem like im shooting at them because ive seen a few enemies like that ingame before how do i get rid of this

I think you are better off sticking to the browser tanki. I would rather have lag than being incapable of dealing any sort of damage. Lag is a part of the game that is honestly very annoying, but it is just part of the game and usually more frequently when there is a new update. I have also been having similar issues with the downloaded client. There is a possibility the browser or client is out of date, but I could be completely wrong though. I gave up on the downloaded game ages ago for that reason. Feel free to refresh and check for client/browser updates. I wish you best of luck and hopefully take this into consideration.
