why did you make two of the same augments?

Question

Hyperspeed Shells and Hyperspace Rounds are literally the same thing by the descriptions and the evidence is below

Alteration railgun hyperspace rounds.png

HYPERSPACE ROUNDS

No tank — be it an ally or an enemy, is an obstacle for these hyperspace rounds - it is simply another chance to accelerate. Efficiency of the turret with this augment is distance-dependent. Damage from such shells increases each time they penetrate a tank.
ADVANTAGES
  • Penetration: +200% Icon info.png
DISADVANTAGES
  • Impact force removed
  • Critical hits disabled

HYPERSPEED SHELLS

The special aerodynamics of the projectile creates additional friction against the air, building up a concentration of static energy. Thus the amount of damage increases the further the shell flies from the tank.
ADVANTAGES
  • Weak damage: 300%
  • Range of minimum damage: -60% Icon info.png
  • Range of maximum damage: -70% Icon info.png
  • Highlighting range: +100% Icon info.png
DISADVANTAGES
  • Regular damage: -50%

Very different augments as evidenced by your own screenshots.

Hyperspace: Requires a shot to go through tanks to deal extra damage
Hyperspeed: Damage increases over distance alone

Hyperspace: No impact force and critical hits
Hyperspeed: Impact force and critical hits preserved

Hyperspace: Damage can increase limitlessly
Hyperspeed: Maximum damage is 2010 (300% of 670)

Hyperspace: Base damage is untouched
Hyperspeed: Base damage is halved

They perform quite differently in battle as well.

Still different. Hyperspace increases damage exponentially per tank penetrated and hyperspeed increases the damage over a long distance unlike hyperspace which needs other tanks in order to deal extra damage. I hope this helps differentiate between the two!
