It is pay to win because THE WINNING TEAM is decided by the buyers! No f2p player can influence the race with 3 stars per 15 minutes if all it takes for a buyer to just click 2 buttons and get hundreds of stars. And no, it would not be unfair against buyers, since the whole game would revolve around players actually playing the game and not just kids like you buying their way to victory...maybe read the event rules before commenting something pathetic next time...

OK 0.1k/d bot ?

omg u so real for that, that’s literally what I’m sayin, it’s too risky for non-buyers to participate in this event cuz loss is big.

Then don't participate in it. You wont really lose out on anything, all the new items will be made more available to everyone in the future anyway.

this event is a big shame...seemed so cool in concept like the old war events, yet it is just an event for those with premium or who buy stars or can afford to keep changing team.

i guess i'll just buy it for the paints, if my team gets to any hammer augments, i'll try and grind to 50 stars if i have the time.

This is probably worst attitude game devs should have towards player. this way this game will lose more and more players, which already is a big problem. Challenges and game itself should be in a way that makes players want to participate and play it, if its not this way, i have bad news for you. And please dont say things like, "if you dont like, dont play", i already dont :DD, but with this aproach really few will stay :DD.

and well, to add little, i dont think its wrong for players to point out what they dont like about game, the problem is that tanki online isnt such game lol(its pointless).

I mean, its technically still pretty valid. The event is pretty much a gamble. I myself don't like the event for multiple reasons, but instead of pouting about it, I'm just not gonna participate.

So you're just gonna casually forget that time devs gave away thousands of tankoins, allowing everyone to get tons of stuff (including Crisis and Armadillo) for free from the Tanki Fund?

A few months ago I'd probably agree with you, but 700tk isn't that bad of a price for this. That being said, I think that the chance aspect of it (you don't know whether you'll end up on the winning team) makes this event less favourable for free players compared to something like a good battle pass. But that's just the game's economic model — there's different events and different bundles aimed at different purchase ability of players. Not everything will be made for F2P.

Honestly, a much bigger issue for F2P is not even the initial participation price, but the amount of grinding required to get the prizes. Even 50 stars is quite a lot — with an average of 2 per battle, that's around 3 hours per day (not including early finished battles), so 12 hours per day to get the 200 stars.

The chance is 83%. There's a 1 in 6 chance that you end up on the team that will end up winning. Plus, there's no total loss scenario, since you get some rewards either way, assuming you earn the stars required.

lol just remove top 5 player and say reward is good.

think once when task done and update in excel sheet without paying anything and equal chance for all but inflation issue i think.

First of all, yall going on circles sayin that devs gave thousands of tk for free, that was compensation for being unable to play TO 1 week+ and why u think every1 who got that thousands of tk doesn’t spend it? Are we supposed to keep it forever? Be for real yall for once! istg yall defending this game like ur lives depends on it! And tbh p2w and f2p both should have same chances of winning and gettin good stuff, this game is so unfair towards non-buyers can’t tell me otherwise. Have a nice day.

Point to point straight forward.:xd:

Yup — you're right. I spent the past hour discussing it with various people because the event page doesn't make this so clear. Or, rather, the page makes it quite clear, but I found it hard to believe that the event would involve the possibility of buying an entry pass for 700tk and walking away with nothing other than the 6 paints.

It also means that if at any stage you grinded 50-200 stars and your team gets eliminated, you have to switch teams in order to avoid that effort going to waste.

Basically, if you're a big buyer with tankoins to spend, the best approach is to buy the bundle, get 200 stars every day, and then switch teams (for 9000tk) at the latest moment. You can take the risk and switch earlier, but that means there will be a chance that you'll still lose and have to pay more to claim the missing prizes.

Given the huge star amounts required to get rewards, for a F2P player I'd definitely skip this one.

I actually have no idea what you're talking about. How did people lose access to ~2600 tankoins?

may be he is talking about event or chat contest where we can win 100 tankoins daily .

I have some questions regarding the event, may you can answer it?

So, the first race will start on 24th of February and the main race will end on 26h.

In case of our team is not going to the elimination race, do we have only 2 days to gain stars for the 1st stage's rewards?
And the other scenario which is more interesting, if our team has to take part on the elimination race as well, then the stars what we've earned so far will be reset and we have to start from zero, or it will be added to stars earned so far?
Also, what happens if we change faction, the earned stars will be reset?

Good question. According to the announcement you indeed have just two days to earn stars. From what I understood, the stars can only be earned during the "main race" time, while day of the elimination race is between the two bottom teams only, and the remaining teams' stars do not contribute to the event in any way, individually or team-wise.

Pretty sure that even if you're in the team that's participating in the elimination race, the stars you earn during the elimination race do not count towards your individual total for that stage, so if you earned 156 stars in the first two days and 67 stars in the elimination day (and your team won the elimination race), you still only get rewards for the 150 stars.

If you change to a winning faction, your stars for each previous race day are counted. For example, say you're earning 100 stars every single day and your initial team gets eliminated first. If you don't change faction, you get absolutely nothing (besides the paints). You can keep earning stars in the next few days, despite being part of an eliminated team. Then, if you switch to a winning team in the end, you will get rewards for all of the previous tiers. Like, there's no situation where you would get rewards for stage 1 and stage 5, but not for stage 2, 3 and 4.

Keep in mind that the above is just my personal understanding — you should check official info to verify. Hopefully the next v-log will clear some things up.

Not really. Just because you can't get all the top-tier rewards an event doesn't make it for buyers only. Take the island hopping events for example (like the space, halloween and winter themed ones) — usually as a free player you get enough of the special currency to reach two or three checkpoints. Sure, there's no chance in hell that you're reaching the 4th and 5th checkpoints that give you Crisis/Armadillo, new augments and crazy new skins (Demonic, Frost, Retro...), but don't discount the fact that you're still getting a whole bunch of free goodies, like 30 nuclear supplies, ≈500 tankoins, tens of thousands of crystals, and maybe even some good augments and decent skins like Wasp Smoky LC.

This has been a pattern for most of the events in recent years. Pretty much anyone can participate for free, but there's an option to pay extra if you want the highest tier rewards. This makes sense.

As for this particular event, I'd say that participating in it clearly isn't a great investment for F2P.

u just punching air atp, every1 has armadillo & crisis that’s no news, we don’t need nuclears, crystals and nerfed comtainers from mini-games, and u just didn’t say wasp/smoky Legacy is decent skin no one is usin it ??

Well, then I'll just repeat what others have already told you — you're free to ignore an event and not participate if you don't think it's worth the effort. But my point was that all those extra events are literally just additional free rewards on top of what you get from typical missions. Sure, you can't get the brand new skins and augments, but having a few extra tankoins and crystals is far better than... well... not having them.

Save your tankoins for tanki fund if you're F2P player.

Events like this one are designed to trick you in wasting your free tankoins from the past tokens of apology. It is so obvious.

finally there's someone says something about that

the last few events were made to take your free tankoins for less rewards so when the next fund came most of the free tankoins from the token are gone

lol? You understand that, if they kill star purchasing, it actually forces people to play more. Playing more means investing time and money, especially when getting near first place requires a decent investment of supplies and upgrades of the whole gear. The last time I recall an event where buying stars didnt help was atleast the war with lions, I don't have any family recollection of such after that.

Promoting players to play more -> increases quantity of games and active playerbases, which we have an absolute lack of at the moment.

How do we see the team which we are on? I only see a few teams on the track.

This event was not well explained, all I understand is that we just need to buy more stars/waste our life on this game to get prizes.

I want to know, if my team is eliminated in a certain stage, and I get a reward of 50 stars in that stage, can I get this reward? For example, I entered the stage in the fourth stage, and I also reached 50 stars, but my team was eliminated in this stage, so, can I get Vulcan's interference transformation?

No, you don't get the reward. Your team has to pass the current stage in order for you to claim the prizes. So for example, if you bought the "start" bundle and your team gets eliminated in the current stage, you get nothing (apart from the 6 paints) unless you buy a "pit stop" bundle.

I saw this sentence in the event prizes ’At the end of the event, we will determine which team a player was on at the end of the event. Then, we will check at what stage this team has been eliminated, and we will give the player prizes for all the previous stages, depending on how many stars the player has earned in these stages.‘

So, if you choose to enter the final stage, as long as you have enough stars, at least you can get all the rewards of the previous stage
