I love that devs removing useless drones.

So now we have old hammer augment and triplet gg.

Removing drones is probably one of the worst idea. Every player has they own playstyle and favorite drone to use even tho some drones arent so popular they are actually useful in MM and in Parkour too. It makes no sense to delete them, drones such as Camper,Blaster,Miner and Lifeguard are good instead of deleteting them what about to change the mechanics of them or buff them?

Interesting to see them actually removing some drones. Indeed, some think that the drone system is overcomplicated. However, I'm a bit sad to see some interesting mechanics go. There'd better be good compensation because many people have those drones maxed.

At least they left my darling Hyperion alone.

It's curious that, instead of making the weaker drones cheaper, the devs are outright removing them. It's like shooting a cannon at a fly- it technically does solve the problem... kind of. At least the remaining drones will be more worth the upgrade costs? xd. Miner isn't even that bad. It's quite useful in my opinion.

Would not really help, in my opinion.
As a new player you should upgrade brutus and use it until you can afford one of the meta drones. making the rest cheaper would not make it reasonable to use them anyway (with some exceptions, of course).

I have 2 accounts with lifeguard and 2 with max campers. I did not waste year upgrading and millions of crystals on them just for someone to remove them for no good reason. This is insane.

 

They are more useful despite what majority thinks and have served me well and still work just fine. I really like combo lifeguard + smoky(indcendiary rounds) + hopper. Second combination: dictator/ares + camper + smoky, which with dictator OD and supercumulative rounds one shots medium tanks(3600 per hit).

I don't like this simplified drone system, cause the other drones were quite useful in some situations and offers drone variety. I think its funny I have MINER almost maxed

and now it is going to be removed; will saboteur have miner's abilities to remember mines after you die? like merge miner and saboteur.

Also Driver is gone, so maybe add its features to hyperion to speed up OD recharge.

I hope it is fair compensation for the drones we upgraded.

Maybe they should also get rid of JAMMER and just combine it with EMP, redundant status effect.

Oh well it might help new players in the end to spend their crystals on vital drones and simplified is the goal that is good.

Cause some games out there are overally complex and a head ache to learn; I like simple.

Hey noobs. You remove drones, I want BIG compensations. Not 10 normal crap containers. Got all drones in garage. All upgraded from level 17-18 to maximum. What about my crystals ?

This is a bad idea in my opinion!
You say that people complain the game is too complex, but you might not realize it keeps the game interesting for those people. 
You will kill half the fun by limiting the amount of drones available. 

Also i got all drones maxed out, will we even get a compensation?

Bought all drones. I play from start of 2014. All turrets, hulls, paints, upgrades bought with 50% sales. From 0 level to level 10 upgrades, bought with 30% or 50% sales. Starting from level 10, only with 50% sales.

Scorpion is MK7-9, other turrets full. All hulls maxed. Vulture is MK7-9 and Armadillo MK7-8; other protections maxed. Sprinter, Supplier, Assault, Lifeguard, Blaster, Saboteur, Camper, Trickster and Hyperion at level 18. Miner, Defender and Crisis at level 19. The rest are maxed.

And now, got 2 million crystals. What to do with them ? I wait for 50% sales and going to upgrade. Not wasting crystals if no sales.

Tired of maxing out turrets/hulls/drones just to get constant nerfs and now removals.

For me, good compensation means Tankoins. One drone removed = 1000 Tankoins or more. You remove 10 Drones, give 10000 Tankoins or more.

Edit: Not crap containers with 1000 Crystals.

Prolly better to wait for this change to happen, unless upgrading drones that are not going to be removed. I am not expecting good compensation either with all maxed drones

Really not fond of hearing you intend on removing camper,  Maybe add tutorials for your.... slower player group instead of making it easier for some people.

       Removing drones from the game is just nonsense, there are players who bought them when that drones were available in the garage and they spent a lot of crystals to buy them and upgrade/speed up them. you should not remove these drones, because there are a lot of people who use drones that are not "too popular according to your research scale". These drones have been there for years and you decide to remove them now? what were you thinking about all this time? were not these drones too complicated before and now they are?! There are people who use only those drones that you are willing to remove (like the camper drone, which is the best drone for camping, gives you 100% bonus damage and 200% double armor, better than defender, booster, and crisis), you have to respect them, you have to consider their opinion! 
       I know you don't read these comments and feedback regarding the updates, but I will try it anyways, if you won't change your mind and remove those drones, you have to return crystals that were spent on buying, upgrading, and speeding up the drones, you have to consider all 3 stages of mentioned above because players spent a lot of crystals on speed-ups too! 
       Also, people spent real money to buy combinations that were offered in the garage like hunter+railgun+sprinter/supplier/assault drone, which was only affordable with money and you should consider this when you start thinking about the compensation procedure.

I totally agree. I, myself have maxed out camper drone and it is really useful Firstly i don't understand whom they got these reviews that these drones are complicated and secondly they can't just add or remove something just as they wish cause if so the game wouldn't be a game  (THEY NEED TO ASK WHAT THE PLAYER BASE WANTS) and camper drone is really simple to understand you don't receive damage you get the drone's benefits idk how people find it so complicated  and if they are still removing the drones it must be compensated properly i upgraded my drone on a 30/50 sale and it costed around 1.7m crystals so i have to be compensated at least that much crystals, various players upgraded it at various times some might have upgraded it on a 50/50 sale which would be 1.5m crystals some might have done it on a 30/70 sale which would be 1.3m crystals and some without any sales which is 3m crystals all this should be noticed. I hope they don't scam people with something like containers as compensation that would be ridiculous.
