Does the performance on tanki on a device really improve the more you play on it?

Question

Since I returned, I haven't been able to play tanki on my pc because it was constantly lagging, so I ended up playing on mobile.

However, every time I try to play on my pc, I am seeing improvements in performance, though albeit I did do some cleaning on it and tinkered around with the settings.

Right now, its almost at the state of being playable again.

Erm, from a mobile perspective, I could say yes, because of cache. For example, when the first time that you download tanki on mobile, you'll take an INSANE amount of time both to load the game and to get into a battle. Next time you'll load into the game, it'll be pretty fast and on the 3rd time that you log into a battle, you'll do so within seconds. I think that it makes a difference though, again, because of cache. Confirm what I'm saying with someone more knowledgeable than me on this topic though.

My game performance is absolutely fine, like you said, maybe fiddle around with your PC and with the advice that Tanki employees have given us (https://en.tankiwiki.com/How_to_reduce_lags). I rather not give you advice on how to manage your PC but make sure you haven't changed anything too significant which would adapt your FPS or connection.

One other thing is to make sure in Windows for display settings that you use the dedicated gpu over the integrated gpu. For example for my monitor

I have to make sure I am using my Nividia RTX 3060 gpu rather than the AMD Radeon igpu. That right there will improve FPS for high settings.

I found google chrome browser works well with tanki. I play at 1440p at 165hz (165fps) now and it works.

Yeah, that's what I thought.
