Am I the only one to notice that after leveling up you no longer receive exp?

Am I the only one to notice that after leveling up you no longer receive exp? It is especially noticeable at a lower level where you level-up more often. When you level-up at the beginning of a battle you don't receive exp after that. Only when you join a new battle will you receive exp again. Have noticed this on my max level account and with a smurf. Both cases you don't receive exp anymore.

Is it just me maybe?

So, that you wont rankup multiple times in 1 battle,

It is like that change for quite some time

Also why you care not rank multiple times, 

So you can screenshot every rankup screen, if that is your thing

It's actually beneficial to wait until you're about to rank up, then join a battle and rank up at the beginning of it. That way you earn crystals for that battle while getting nearly zero experience, which helps you keep up with equipment upgrades as they unlock.

There was an update, in which it's not possible to receive XP after the rank up on a battle you have done that. I guess most of the players noticed that... Honestly I have no idea what to say about that thing. For newbies this might be annoying, but on the other hand it won't be possible to rank up that fast when it's XP and Battle Funds are increased during weekend events and you can save crystals for upgrading your favourite equipment (or not  )

WoW - The reward does worth the effort of this rev-matching you're doing!!   Definitely one battle doesn't make a difference, and you lost some xp/rewards from the previous battle you played.

Not sure what you mean here. One battle might not make a significant difference, but it helps a little bit at least.
