Is any reason why numerically unbalanced battles are allowed at all? Just wondering...

It may be caused because some players leave the battle. Some have problems with their internet connection, so can't join the battle. Moreover, you need to be a little bit patient in this case because as soon as someone leaves the battle the other player joins to balance it.

I get that. But why to allow unbalanced battles at start? Now it is an option for whoever created the battle; just remove it.

This is MM, there aren't many players in this game who play a lot and there is no player in your rank range with similar rank or equipment and MM needs to fill that "hole" with some horribly strong or horribly weak player. Many players on the same "level" as yours are already on battles when you are searching a good map on MatchMaking.

Auto balance is an option. You can enable/disable it as an option when creating a battle. The yin-yang icon if I am not mistake. Could a forum moderator correct it if I am incorrect?

Unbalanced battles on Pro Battles? Well, players create such battles, they have a huge choice and that's why it's allowed. If you don't like such battles, don't join them.

Also, as Bowser448 wrote, there is an option to balance battles while creating them. https://prnt.sc/4SBpIclJblU7 Autobalans = Autobalance but it's in polish language. I guess you have noticed the resemblance.

I know there is an option and obviously none likes to play in a team of 2 when the other team has 9 players. My question is why there is that option because it does not make any sense.

If I'm to come up with an example of when you would not want a forcibly balanced pro battle, it's during a private rankup. In those cases, you have one player shooting at a group of players.

In some cases, it's kinda useful. Like @Me0w_XP wrote, for example private rankups. Many players can join such battles.. Also some people can fight 2 vs 1 or more and find out how much players can defeat while being alone..

But as I mentioned, don't join such battles if you don't like them. No one is forcing you to play that kind of battles.

In those (weird) cases leave the option. When it comes to serious Pro Battles, remove it. And remove the Drugging option (as that would be MatchMaking). Between weird options and the vast majority of players not understanding the ABC of the game, it is tough to find a single good battle nowadays.

How would the game differentiate between rankups and normal battles? It is more logical to leave the switch there so that you may have it on for cases like rankups and off for normal battles.

Why would the game even care about "rankups"??? Leave a weird option so that weird players can play a weird thing? Should we have an option for incoming players to be unable to shoot and unable to exit the battle?
