Congratulations to the other team on completing all five challenges! ?

About the contest now... I really liked the idea and appreciate the effort you put into creating 5 unique challenges on a single map, reminds me of Parkour Survival from the good old days (2017-2020). I wouldn't mind if such contests were organized regularly once a year.

  • What would you like to see different with this contest?

Could possibly be a longer contest with more challenges that would be on 2 or 3 different maps depending on the difficulty of the tricks (for example: first 3 challenges on Rio, next 3 on Barda and the final 3 on Serpuhov, meaning there could be a total of 9 challenges). That in my opinion would be quite interesting to see.

  • How difficult were the challenges?

As someone who is a very experienced parkourist, I would say that majority of the challenges were on easy-medium level (depending on how good parkourist you are). I liked some of the ideas, such as Challenge #3 which required the teams to think of the right order in which the jumpers would land on the containers. Challenge #4 with the jumper being limited by the area he had to start from (in this case, the tunnel) and landing on the platform literally above him without touching anyone or anything seemed very challenging at first, but with enough thinking it easily turned into a relatively simple task. The last challenge seemed very similar to the fourth challenge, at least with the restrictions it had (not touching anyone/anything, no mines, etc.), but it was actually way harder to land than we thought (took us about 3 hours in total, with the first 2 hours being a tandem trick and 1 hour of using all 4 players).

My list of challenges, sorted by its difficulty and time consumption (from easiest to hardest):

Challenge #1 (was very easy, but we wanted the trick to be somewhat decent and difficult for us, so technically should be listed as 4th)

Challenge #2

Challenge #4

Challenge #3

Challenge #5

Overall, I am glad I could take part with my team and managed to complete all challenges with relative ease. Had to somehow take the rust off my tank after all these years of mostly spectating parkour rather than actually performing the tricks, you know. ?

So thank you once again for organizing this contest and I hope to see more activity from our fellow parkourists.

I really enjoyed taking part in this contest. It was good oppurtunity to test parkour skills.

Of course i would like to see more contests, would like to see more and more people taking part in them so that community would grow up again.

Contest structure was fine, only changes that could be done is higher number of challenges.

Challenges were mostly easy.

Thank you for organising this contest, I hope to see more contests in future.

Big thanks to @Lennard for organizing the recent parkour contest! It's awesome to see these contests making a comeback. I used to love parkour, and I'm glad to see such contests again. Thanks again for putting this together, and I hope it becomes a regular thing. Looking forward to more contests (and hopefully official ones) in the future!

Why did/didn't you participate in this unofficial contest?

I was originally going to participate, but unfortunately the Lightweight Augment update came out, and the break of time between then and when the Extreme Lightweight Augments came out caused my team to fizzle out. I assume some others had similar experiences as well. Even if I had found another team though, I think there would have come a point in the contest where we stopped - either the day the new Parkour Rules, Club Support Program, and Official Clubs Program were announced, or the day those elements took effect. Those systems have caused me and lots of other parkourists to lose significant or total motivation towards both parkour and the game in general, and I think that loss of motivation negatively shaped how this contest turned out.

Do you want more parkour contests in general?

I would love to see more parkour contests in the future, besides just the standard yearly rendition of Masters of Parkour. Parkour Survival was always one of the most enjoyable contests for the parkour community, and I think a revitalized version of that contest was an excellent starting point. There are lots of other unique parkour contests from the past too though - such as Triumph Season or Lift Off, just to name a few - and I think reintroducing those could also be enjoyable for the parkour community.

What would you like to see different with this contest?

Personally, I think this contest was free of anything that needed tweaking. I think the lack of participation was not due to any issue with the contest, rather specific events pertaining to parkour that came up during the duration of the contest. I guess I would just suggest that, in the future, you build a time machine and use it to peer into the near future to ensure there are no colossal changes waiting to be released that would impact the parkour community for the worse... ?

How difficult were the challenges?

I didn't try to complete nor helped participating teams accomplish the challenges, but from just looking at them, I think most of them were not very difficult. I could see Challenge 4 posing some minor difficulties, but the other challenges seem pretty straightforward and simple to me. With that being said, this edition of Parkour Survival was entirely conducted on a singular map, and I recognize the limitations that would cause in coming up with challenges. There's only so many props in the map, and obviously it would be boring if every trick took place in the areas of the map most densely populated with such props. I commend the organizers' ability to put together some decent challenges given the circumstances.
