invalid Ranked Sport mode in MM

The current sport mode, where victory relies purely on your team's skills is a breath of fresh air among the regular MM that is infested with unbalanced augments/rank gaps. I suggest an ELO-based ranked sport mode (random game mode/random map) to be implemented alongside the rest of MM- who knows, this ELO may even replace the current "efficiency" statistic on the ratings page. Instead of sorting by rank/GS, players should be pitted against each other based on said "ELO" value.

Groups should be allowed, and the same rule as the rest of MM should follow (group of equal size must be present in enemy team). This could also entail an "ELO" leaderboard where players can compete for rewards based on their rank on the ratings page (ratings page update when, am i right? )

Ranked MM has been in plans ever since MM was added around 2017. At this point I doubt it will ever happen.

Let me tell you this, people have been wanting a ranked mode for easily over a decade, and not only for MM. But the devs think otherwise unfortunately, in some older V-Log I even remember them saying they don't see ranked as an option (for now). Only argument against ranked that I can think of is the apparently lower player numbers that would make queue times too long, but I'm not too sure if it would actually be such a huge problem. I wouldn't mind having to wait 1-2 minutes more for better teammates.

Maybe we'll have to wait for them to fix certain things; in some recent interview it was mentioned that they're working on a big rewrite or something. If the game gets avertised again afterwards, actually works and there is a wave of new players, then know knows, perhaps we'll finally get our ranked game modes.

But personally, I'd also love this game to become more competitive.
