playing the game with one hand?

hey, so sorry this is probably a rly dumb question, but is there any viable way to play the game with one hand?

i broke my arm skateboarding (a rly displaced humerus which has somehow like turned around my shoulder joint in its socket or something, i dont rly get it i just know its pretty bad) and ive been told that even after my surgury i wont be able to move my arm for like 6 weeks or something rip (or skateboard for a rly long time which rly rly sucks).

anyway, i was looking forward to trying some of the augs from the sakura blossom event when it ends, so i was hoping maybe i still could if theres a way to play one-handed, but sry i know its prob a rly stupid question bcz the answer is probably no (but in my defense, im on a bunch of morphine meds rn and feeling pretty blegh, so im allowed to ask hopeful-but-excessively-dumb questions rn lmao).

anyway so if anyone has any solutions id be rly grateful ?

It definitely is possible to play one handed, since you don't have to rely on mouse controls. You could of course play without turning your turret, if your left hand is good you could I don't know, use WASD to drive for example and shoot using the spacebar with your thumb. I don't know what keyboard layout you have, but with this configuration my pinky would still be free, so I could bind turret rotation to Shift for rotating left and to >< (key to the right of my Shift) to rotate right. And there you go, one hand controls. If it's meant to be for the right hand, you can just mirror this to the other side of your keyboard. I have a QWERTZ keyboard, if you're interested

And yeah, you can rebind all the controls in the settings, you can always make new configurations and I would recommend testing them out in private PRO battles. Just find whatever you find most comfortable.

@Dumbledore6969 hi, thx for asking! ? tbh i forgot about this post, i just played the game today for the first time in ages.

and re playing with one hand, i tried, but i gave up pretty quickly - it actually didn't rly affect my score that much compared to playing with both hands (prob bcz i generally suck anyway, so it's hard to get much worse - like srsly, ive been playing for 12 yrs and im still trash lmao) but it still felt pretty awkward to play.

also sry for the frazzled topic post, i was on like two diff opioid meds at the time so i was pretty off my face - i generally try to not post anymore bcz i posted way too much on the tx forum. and yea, everything's healed mostly thx - my arm still gives out a lot randomly so i just have to be careful when doing certain types of transition tricks, but tbh im kinda scared of vert ramps now so its nice having an excuse to stick to street and baby ramps now anyway lol

@Iliana Don't say you suck. Everyone plays the way they can, there are different situations in battle and there is no need to worry about them. I've been playing for a dozen years and I've learnt that you can't give up, you lose one battle then win three, that's the game. I hope your arm is back to 100% as soon as possible and I will see you in battle! I wish you good health and good luck. ❤️❤️
