So much crystals!

I've been asking around recently about the amount of crystals players have saved up on they're account and the answers were actually surprising. I've played Tanki since about 10 years ago and I always knew the grind for crystals would be difficult but it seems that recently its been way easier to obtain crystals on Tanki. When I first joined the game anywhere over 10,000 was alot to me, gold boxes and parkour was all the hype. Occasionally there would be events with gold boxes similar to the ones we see today, but slower paced on drops and 30,000-50,000 crystals seemed to be the new standard of wealth.I ultimately quit Tanki, visiting once in a while to see updates. However, since the battle pass dropped on Tanki I've made a new career account which I use today. Since then it seems like the game has changed a lot from play style to cosmetics, and the events held today drop gold boxes so frequent a tanker can catch up to 10 alone in one game. I took part in this myself and ended up catching 94 gold boxes the week prior to me posting this. I've gained so many crystals I felt confident enough to ask other tankers they're crystal count. People had a lot of different responses but the response given ranged from hundreds of thousands to millions of crystals. I was told people gained a substantial amount of crystals during the April Fools event where in the battle, a gold box has the chance of containing 50,000 crystals and tankers were right to take advantage of this. Ive personally been grinding last week and this week and missed the April Fools event. I've ranked up and spent 200k on upgrade costs and currently hold; 328,771 crystals.

They're giving infinity crystals because they're no longer the main resource in the game. Their focus now is on the unpurchasable equipment that are looked by the paywall (or RNG; just in case). Inflation of crystals isn't the best thing ever, just more confusing things that make the game harder for the player even the missions are too much now to focus.

Earning cry is not easily done if you are a player who wants to be competitive and not get wasted 20 times in every battle you go into, your kd suggests this is what happens to you on a regular basis.

Upgrading protection modules in itself costs a fortune in crystals and that's just for "ONE" 

In my opinion you have wasted cry on to many turrets, which wont do jack at the rank you are now at.

Your remaining cry might seem a lot, but you will need millions to be competitive as you go through the ranks.

IMO your account is very weak, that's down to the devs and the way you play your account.

This only applies and seems this way to Legends with maxed out everything.

The lower ranks have never had it so bad because the game (devs) conspires against them to try and encourage them to spend cash to make up for the useless garage most lower ranked players have, especially new players to the game.

I no a Legend with 2.75 million cry with "NOTHING" but supplies to use them on, which is no problem as he has over 100K of each supply and a multitude of containers to open if needed, 70 of them being the rare (weekly) ones. I will let you do the math on these containers alone.

If you are a maxed out Legend crystals are usually just a by-product of game play with little to no value.

If you are a low ranked player crystals are extremely hard to amass and any significant amount you do earn are soon gone due to the huge number needed to upgrade equipment, especially protection modules, which for low ranked players is not much of a problem because you can't acquire any until general rank, which is another pitfall low rankers have to contend with. 

The game is a P2W joke and unless you are prepared to SPEND BIG your garage will be worse than useless when you reach brigadier and beyond.

The amount of Legends I have seen with a G/S between 5 and 7k is amazing. Even with augments (which I hate) these players are just cannon fodder for the older generation of Legends, who obliterate these type of players in a split second.
