Error when entering battles - Based in UAE / Dubai

Cant enter battles. Facing errors each time. All my friends are able to play, except for me. Is it my location (Dubai)? I tried using wifi, phone data, my other accounts, different laptop, tanki app on the phone, reinstalled the tanki app - nothing seemed to have fixed. Please see to it for our UAE region!

I'm also in Dubai and the game was fine for me yesterday, but I did get an error when loading into a battle on mobile just now. It worked fine on second attempt though, so I doubt that it's a regional issue.

Regional issue? We can't play for 7 days, isn't regional issue. Before I could join with proxy, but now even with proxy I can't log in

Well, OP says that all his/her friends are able to play, so I don't think this is about the big server downtime that's been happening recently.

I get the error message saying "Lost server connection

Control channel disconnect exception". 

Someone please help me out with this. Its very frustrating. I have cleared cache, app data, and tried everything within my knowledge to make this work.

This is now day 12 of being unable to even enter the game, let alone load a battle. It just sits on the loading screen with a circle going round and round.

In singapore, there has been 3 straight days cant evennload the game, either mobile nor pc.

While recent 3 days is ok enough to complete missions, only during non busy hr in my timezone

It's the bloated operating system and bright colours the devs keep adding.

They never update or upgrade anything, they just add more features causing the server itself to bin out as it can't handle being so bloated with graphical changes.

 

They can't remove all the stats and stuff that drones and augments and protection modules give, which alone is enough to make the server crash as it's processing way to much information trying to keep every single tank in every single battle running smoothly with all the statistic based bloating because that's simply how the game's mechanics work now.

The only way they can fix this is to remove 75% of the high end performance killing 3D rendering they've added to every single page in the game over the past few months. From the garage to the battles themselves, there's just too much information for the server to handle, especially when there's an event on because there's thousands of players online at the same time.

 

Or... the only other way, is get new servers and processors.

Which is expensive... and they can't afford that... because the pay-to-play aspects of the game have had the prices cranked so high recently that none of the players actually buy anything.

I said this ages ago when they cranked prices up... Tanki seems to think that having one player spend $10, on one occasion... is better than having thousands of players spending $1 each, every day... week in, week out.

So in short... change the person in charge of business practices, and change the developers.

a) their bot AI takes up too much space (and they've been lying about how many bots are actually present in the game)

or

b) they switched to a crappier server which ultimately makes them more money somehow

Nah, they wouldn't have switched to a cheaper server... I think they're using the same server they started with 14 years ago.

 

What they're doing with all the additions and blaoted OS... is trying to run Windows 11 on a ZX Spectrum.

Bro, I haven't been able to open my game on the client for 7 days. I was thinking the game was down for everyone, but when I tried to log in to the browser... I really was able to join battles (with frequently problems in connection and leaving battles).

But 7 days and still is not working in client... I tried with proxy, tried unistall game, restart computer, clean, reinstall the game in a different SSD... Nothing is working.

Days 1-12 game wouldn't open...

Yesterday, day 13, game opened, but wouldn't open battles.

Day 14... today... same, game loads, but the battles won't.

 

2 weeks.

2 whole weeks now, the game has been inaccessible.

OMG. Are you that desperate and brainwashed that you put that much time into trying to enter a game that has been broken in more ways than one for years now.

Seriously, get a grip.

The devs will never fix their servers because they are cheap and don't give a toss. As long as YOU keep giving them cash, they will gladly keep taking it off you.

The events of the past couple of weeks have been unfortunate, but its important to recognize that this issue extends beyond just the game. It has been a global problem affecting many Microsoft servers, platforms and businesses worldwide leading to a widespread network disruptions and impacting numerous websites and online services. To Clarify the game itself has been running smoothly for most users over the past week.

i would slightly agree with you regarding the Pay-to-play aspect of the game. While the small packages available in the item shop such as daily tankoins pass and limited-time offers, are practical and affordable, Most would agree that the prices for other items are excessively high and should be adjusted to a more reasonable level.
