Graphical Improvement for "Blaster" Shot Effect

The Blaster shot effect of Twins and Ricochet looks and sounds cool, and unique in its own way, but I've noticed that on looking at Blaster shots from some particular angles, they appear to be 2D, instead of 3D, i.e. they just look like a drawing floating in the air, which doesn't suit a game like Tanki Online which has incredible graphics. So I suggest to improve its graphics such that the Blaster shots would look 3D, and thus, even more amazing!

The idea is decent, but very unlikely to be implemented. All shot effects in Tanki are sprites, meaning that they are 2D objects which orient themselves to always face your point of view, so that you never see them as "flat". This doesn't always work, and sometimes the illusion is broken. However, turning all shot effects into 3D objects would cause the game's performance to take a massive hit, so it's not something devs would do for the sake of a small visual improvement.

Agreed... but I don't think that by doing this, the performance of the game will degrade much, because more and more HD Skins, Remastered Maps, etc. are being added to the game, which have even more graphical details than all the shot effects in the game, and still they don't seem to be degrading the performance of the game much, if at all.

However, you know much more about the internal details of the game than I, so you must have said this for a reason.

But you're forgetting that there's only a handful of turrets and hulls in every battle, whereas if a bunch of people use Twins with the 3D blaster effect, suddenly the game needs to render hundreds of fast-moving 3D objects, and that does affect performance.

Right... This point got completely slipped out of my mind.

I was right when I said that you must have said what you said in your earlier reply, for a reason. Because you really do take all the points under considersation before accepting or declining an idea or a suggestion.
