Score from healing

Recommended Posts

Healing is a very important part of the game, but it is not fairly rewarded. If i am not mistaken you receive 13 score for healing any hull to its maximum health.

Now that is very annoying, because imagine healing a 20.000 HP juggernaut when he is very low on HP and you are rewarded with 13 battle score.

As well as healing a light, medium or heavy hull is also rewarded with 13 score, which I believe should be changed to something like this:

Healing a tank should be based on what type of hull you are healing and you get the following battle score for healing them to their maximum health! If you don't heal them to their maximum health you get scores based on how many percentage you restored.

Light hull: 10 score

Medium hull: 13-14-15 score

Heavy hull: 16-18-20 score

Juggernaut: 40-50-60 score

The medium and heavy hulls are not clear to me, but i do think light hulls should give 10 score, and from there medium hulls should give either 13, 14 or 15 score, as well as heavy hulls 16, 18 or 20 score, and healing a Juggernaut with it's massive HP should give around 40, 50 or 60 scores.

Also want to mention that healing with overdrives are not rewarded by scores at all, and the affected hulls are Paladin, Titan and Ares.

Especially Paladin when it is it's main skill, titan gives a whopping 90% protection, and ares can kill enemies, but Paladin's only skill is healing and pulsar immunity. I think Paladin should be rewarded with scores for healing teammates.

Declined

Score from healing is based on the percentage of health restored, rather than HP amount. As far as I know, this is a completely intentional decision for gameplay balance purposes. Players are discouraged from healing teammates with heavy hulls in an effort to try and reduce the amount of unkillable tanks, who are being healed non-stop by teammates.
