The game is about money that is true, and it has been that way since 2009. The only difference between then and now is that the monetization has been polished to extract as much money as possible and the fact that the game is pretty expensive because their playerbase dwindled significantly over the years. However, there isn't really much correlation between phoenixes and making money, imo. 

I dont really think they are gaining much money from the Phoenix feature. Afaik, you cant buy any reputation points or experience or whatever Phoenixes are counted by in the shop. The only thing that would make them money is selling supplies for players trying to get Phoenix in MM, and I dont really think this is the case. Most people who are going for Phoenix are buyers anyway who already have tens if not hundreds of thousands of supplies they will never use. They really dont need to spend money for this if they are going for Phoenix.

Besides, a lot of the people who achieved Phoenix did so because they abused certain game features (not because they spend money), starting from old Juggernaut mode to later abusing attacking side in ASL and using OP stuff they got from containers or events like Vacuum, Lifeguard, Blaster along with other junk like Defender and strifing hulls that just allowed them to nolife and get absurd amounts of points.

My opinion is that they are keeping it a mystery simply to overhype this feature. They know most people will not go for Phoenix because its super boring and time consuming. Most people with semblence of a life would require several years to even come close. They are keeping it a mystery to hide the fact that nobody really needs these augments anyway. If the stats become public and confirmed, people will realize that although some Phoenixes (maybe all, dunno) are more powerful than average augments, you dont really need to grind absurd amounts of hours for augments that can be substituted by other OP stuff they sell in containers and events. For average buyer, its likely better to buy containers or spend tkns/rubies  on events to get augments that are just as powerful if not more broken than Phoenixes will ever be.

I just wanted to know if Tanki will show the Phoenix Augment details soon or in the future. It would be nice to gradually write in the information for Phoenix, as Tanki YouTubers unlock and showcase them. It's no problem if they remain hidden for now. Tanki developers may change their minds later on, when many more players obtain one. I admire your deep thoughts and discussions about money, etc. that you made with Maf.

You literally have to grind like hell to unlock them. That's a terrible monetisation strategy right there.
