Accidental rank up and ranking up not in a battle

Hey everyone so recently tanki did an update that was not widely publicised but it is now the case that standard daily and weekly missions now include +100 experience points as a reward for completing each mission.

So I entered the game and collected an achievement for entering the game. This gave me experience points which caused me to rank up. This has really annoyed me as I was hoping to film a rank up video with friends in a battle as I was 5 experience points away from the rank of generalissimo. Let others know so they don't rank up accidentally like me.

Also anyone who know who I could contact to get me experience points removed so that I can have a in battle rank up party as planned that would be really helpful.

Officially, rolling back a rank is not something Tanki allows. But you can try sending an email to help@tankionline.com, maybe they'll give you an exception.

ugh thats gotta be annoying. I accidentally ranked up to Legend too early as well. 

I wonder If I can roll back my account to recruit but keep my current equipment.

I really think they should still have the rank up animation when you enter a battle if you rank up by doing a non battle related activity as otherwise there is no real celebration or sense of achievement for ranking up.

Honestly I think tanki should not give out experience for activities that are not performed in battle but I don't think the devs are going to listen to that.

"many years" ... you have 240 hours in the game...

If you were an og player you'd know that there was a time before the rankings page was introduced and they didn't count any hours played before that point so I reckon I have 1000 plus hours stretching back to 2014 and have screenshots to prove that.

 

Back in the day generalmissimo was to top rank so reaching it was the pinacle and to have that stolen away from me is obviously annoying as a rank up should be special and celebrated.

I literally cannot understand why people who played since before 2014 somehow feel this sentiment towards ranking up to Generalissimo/Legend in 2025. Like bruh, what have you been waiting for last 10 years and why return for this completely insignificant moment after such long time. You must barely play the game to have this old account that isnt even Generallissimo meaning you barely have an interest in the game. Also the only one who stole this moment from you is you yourself. While I dont really agree with the new addition of exp to the missions, it is your responsibility to familiarize yourself with the new updates and changes to the game and actually paying attention to what you do in the game.

To be fair, most people are casual players. Allot of people play one a week tops and have for years, and def aren’t gonna spend time sitting thru the vlogs and every announcement to see updates. If you don’t get it, u don’t get.
