25 years ago, the world's worst nuclear disaster occurred in Ukraine, killing many people and negatively affecting many more. Today we pay tribute to those who lost their lives in that accident a quarter century ago.

 

 

 

 

 

Side note: I was surprised that Tanki didn't do anything special to the map Chernobyl today. =(

Yea, I pay respect to those people especially cause I am living in Ukraine. But one thing I think everyone should know is that: The station was suppose to explode, government knew it was going to blow up. But the workers did not know what they were facing. Lets pay our respect to those people.

Chernobyl disaster is looked at as a global event, the impression I get from everybody. Interested about the "supposed to blow up" part. Heard of many conspiracy theories, but not this one. Neglect seems more likely?

No conspiracy or anything. I know what happened. They created an illegal device to refill the fuel rods without human help. The machine malfunctioned while they tested it and it blew up. It blew a hole in the roof and a hole in the reactor hence a radioactive disaster of beta and gamma particles.

Yea, the people that built the station knew that it wouldn't last long. They knew that they didn't do everything right, so they knew it would have ended in a disaster.

it is pretty sad though and my friend thomas11 didnt know it was on here and he showed me tanki ;( thatis sad the goverment knew and didn't tell the workers
