Your Honest Opinion/feeling about 2.0(sticky?)

The graphics are really cartoony, whenever I shoot someone, some error message pops up, the chat is soooo flooded with all the players, and there are no mods, so some random russian guy flooded the whole chat with ten million lines of text that it made my computer crash. Also, none of the controls seem to respond, and it takes a century to load.

The lags are because of extreme load and weak servers in use right now, that part will get better. As far as the chat goes, there will be mods, there will be channels for languages and all that. The channels are actually ready, they're just taken out for the moment to ease off the load on the server. The rest is coming :)

I thought you wanted Freeze to get nerfed or maybe Firebird to get a little buff. :shock:

First impressions.

( Based on comparison to Tanki 1.0 similar stuff ONLY )

 

1. Speed of the game - extremely slow, unplayable. I think the ridiculous decision to enable global chat by default adds tremendously to unplayability of the game. Developers - if you care to read this - disable it by default and turn it on player explicit demand! I have monitored the traffic on my computer and guess what - for 30 min I accumulated 2.3 GBytes incoming traffic. This is crazy! When I switched off the global chat - things normalized a bit to do purchases at the garage. But still going to battles is next to unplayable.

2. Stuff transfer. Probably a bug, or probably just test values - I don't know. But definitely the transferred count of drugs was invalid - just random counts for drugs. So I doubt if the transferred amount of crystals/rubies is correct either.

3. Crystals & Rubies. Crystal value IMO was denominated 100 times. Ruby, if the my evaluations based on the amount of transferred rubies are correct, has an exchange rate 0.03 or in other words 1$ == 30 rubies. Anxious to get official confirmation for my evaluations though.

4. Prices. Again, don't know if these are final costs, or just test cost values.

The amount of transferred crystals and rubies allows me to buy all the things I have now at Tanki 1.0, and even save some money!

4.1 Armor - weird prices, Smoky accumulative upgrade to M3 is 85% of the cost of Viking M3 accumulative upgrade ?! Dictator is twice expensive than Viking ?? Overall armor in practice is twice as cheaper than guns.

4.2. Guns - If my assumptions at p.3 are correct, then T2 M3 guns are cheaper now by 30 %.

4.3. Paints - the prices are the same as at Tanki 1, therefore are 100 times cheaper ??

However IMO the new duo-currency will introduce severe complication at the game, and will have huge impact at players without sufficient ruby transfers as they soon will get short of rubies.

The game is on test mode now - so there's no need to rate the action and functionality.

Prices are not of final values: I guess some corrections would be done.

Are you serious? No ratings for functionally? Small corrections?

This game is stated to be at "Open Beta" status, just 20 days before public release.

Therefore functionality should be 100 % complete, new feature requests implementation frozen, final bug fixing available only.

But from what I've seen, I barely assign more than Alpha 3 status for the game. Not Beta to me at all.

I'm agree with you, also for me this isn't a beta....

Is there an english version available? Now it is very difficult to find everything.

By the way, dutch would be the best for me :)

 

And what can I do to improve the performance? It is really very slow.

 

Edit:

The number of transferred Double Damage supplies is incorrect. The number of the other supplies looks fine.

Where can we post the bugs?

The slowness of the test does NOT APPLY TO THE FINAL RELEASE. The menu buttons and the rest of the game languages and the missing BITS (LOL) will also be added in the final release. FINAL RELEASE IS ON JUNE 4th.

I don't get why the chat will load but nothing else.

You WAIT after chat has loaded, Patience my friend ;)

+1, and wait when you klick the buttons too.

It loaded once for me, then, in pure excitement, I entered a battle. As soon as I shot someone, some error popup popped up (no pun intended) over my tank. So, I couldn't destroy anyone, and while the battle said it had nine people in it, there were only two, who both could destroy me in one shot of a thunder, even though I had viking!

 

That was two days ago. Yesterday I tried it again. Only the chat loaded. So, I left my computer and went to do something else. About thirty minutes when I came back, still only the chat was on. This all happened on the same computer which had worked the previous day.

I, personally am pretty miffed that I can't get the same tank I had in 1.0... I really hope I can get a lot of crystals and rubies fast... cuz I need my m3 railgun

so, is it easer , or harder to get crystals and rubies? also, is there certen things you can buy with the rubies, and not crystals, or can you convert them? please explane more about it to me please!
