Speed cheat has been detected...

Hi there all,

today I tryed to join a "silence" scenario CTF but after few seconds a prompt appeared and told me "Speed cheat detected". After some more seconds the server disconnected me. This is happened another time some day ago.

I want to point out I'm NOT a cheats user (even because I don't know how to use them). This message appear randomly when I try to play and always on silence scenarios. If I try any other game (not silence) the problem don't appear.

Is this a know problem or is just for me?

Any hints ?

T(h)ank you for your time.

No, no programs at all ( I'm not a cheat user, in that case I'll be Marshall and not a mere 2nd leutenant ) and all the others apps are closed b/c I have a slow comp and an horrible frame rate. I can't even use skype and tanki together.

Btw this happen more often on Chrome than FF. I don't use IE

in the past there were some false-positive triggers for the speed-cheat-detector...

if you have poor peering with tankionline, with lag-spikes, packetloss, packetloss-spikes, overloaded cpu, poorly coded drivers, etc... those kinds of things are generally likely to trigger speed-cheat-detectors...

judging from your text, i'd recommend u to get a better computer, or at least change the resolution... to something like 640x480 or less...

Thank you for your answer, but 640x480??? is like playing with a Vic20/C64 :(

And just to debunk the idea the russian have of europeans swimming in gold coins like uncle Mc Scrooge, I can't buy a better computer, too far of my actual budget.
