I made this guide cos' its the holidays and i am bored.

 

Freeze

 

Pros

 

• M3 highest DPS

• Slowing-down effect

• Piercing effect

• OK reload

• Longer consumption

• Its cool

 

Cons

 

• Short range

• If consumption runs out then bye bye most of the time

• Very Expensive

• You cannot avoid being damaged

• Ypu will drug often

• People tend to shoot you more as you are more dangerous

• Friendly fire

 

Any tank works with this weapon, go for the smaller maps like island or farm if you use mammoth and regular maps if you use hornet or viking. Avoid maps like stadium or monte carlo.

IMPORTANT! Master the skill of driving and turning your turret simultaneously.

 

How to deal with each type of weapon in one on one fight[/u]

 

Smoky

Just circle the enemy while firing at him

 

Firebird

Same^ Note that m3 firebird can overpower freeze m0 and m1

 

Twins

Just circle the enemy... fast...twins is the fastest turning turret

 

Railgun

This is the slowest turning turret, so if you managed to freeze this that guy/girl is probably dead, provided if you survived the way to reach him/her.

 

Isida

Note that your range is five more meters than the isidas'. press page up to get a birds-eye-view and shoot, 20 meters is actually pretty long. So as long as you stay out of isidas range your safe

 

Thunder

Either circle the enemy, or stay directly beside him/her.

 

Another Freeze

See who is more powerful. Try to surprise attack him from behind and circle him.

Just note that sometimes ricos can just stay at one position and hit you by bouncing his bullets even if frozen.

 

 

When going for enemy head-on, aligned to his side and drive past him, then circle. Make sure you can kill your enemy in your whole consumption. Know the differences between M levels of tanks and turrets (Use Tankviewer) If you want to charge try to get a isida and drug 2+3+4 ( usually when isidas see drugged people they just follow :-) ) Note the spreading of the 'sprays' when you shoot, sometimes you can kill people in awkward positions. Know where the enemies are at, when capturing flags try to avoid them. Ambushing gives you high ratio, but seriously it sucks... so boring. Anyway note the thin walls like in combe, do not leave your turret visible from the other side.Anyway you want to ambush maps like silence-only 2 paths for enemies( 3 for blue). Suicide and soloing is usually stupid dont do it. When you fall off an edge press spacebar it looks cool.

 

Blocking attacks

Use an ally to block incoming attacks, you should be able to shoot at the enemy since your weapon pierces. When going for the flag get a ambulance on standby...and if you see a group of people you can get into a position where only one enemy could attack you while the rest attacks gets blocked. To jump from heights without flipping, aliogned with the edge,go towards it at full speed and continue holding the up (or down) button.

 

If you use hornet,when upgrading you want to m2 your turret than upgrade your tank to m2 as that will help you survive the m3 railguns.

Golden Rule!

Remember, NEVER go to a fight when the odds do not favor you. In that case just retreat ( no way of retreat then just fight). Fight ONLY when you have a higher chance of winning. ( This does not apply to killing enemies with your flag) If you follow this, you should get a good ratio of 2:1 and not something rubbish like 1:10

I see that you tried to copy mine :P the thing is that mine took around 2 hours but I took 3 days to complete it And it's still not finished. Unlike My Isida' guide, I feel my Thunder one is not really that good.

-You will drug often... Hmm.... I drug about five times more with railgun than firebird.... so I'd expect about the same ratio with thunder-freeze.

you drug five times more?? hmm with DD rite? With freeze sometimes you cannot kill someone in your whole consumption so you drug. When you need the flag you drug.

people tend to shoot you more, yes, they love shooting drugged people, isidas, people at the back and powerful/weakest people.

I am 100% sure any freeze will be damaged sometime ( unless you just bought one) With skill you can avoid being hurt too much, with isidas and health packs you can avoid dying, but you WILL be damaged, especially when going for the flag. If you use some ally in front of the to block attacks, you WILL be damaged by railguns, other freezes firebirds and the odd bouncing rico.

When I can't kill in consumption, I don't drug..... :P I just wait for them to be damaged.

I find that freeze isn't an "annoying" weapon to play against, as they don't "cheat" by sniping. Snipers are picked on most, such as richochets and thunders. Not freezes afaics

You WILL be damaged. But again, you WILL be damaged with any other weapon as well. Why particularly freeze? You don't explain that.

1. Sometimes you cannot wait for somebody to damaged your opponent because the opponent as the flag, so you drug. Anyway thats killstealing.

 

2.When using other weapons, drugging is optional, like a rico. When using freeze, drugging is compulsory most of the time since you need to kill people in their spawn which means FULL HEALTH DUDES so you drug.

 

3. Freeze is annoying when you cant shoot at him beacuse your an ice cube.

 

4.Using long ranged weapons like smoky thunder railgun you can avoid damage by hiding when your gun is reloading, if a rusher comes your dead however. But if you are in monte carlo, you can avoid damage completely if your good at timing and there are no rushers.

 

5.People like to shoot at you also because you are usually at the front and thus the closest to them

Just a question, what M is your freeze if you need to drug to kill people? I'm a captain with m0 viking and m1 freeze(noob stuff FTW) and if I pick my spot I can capture with ease...
