Forum Games

At first, I was a fan of Forum Games in Off-Topic Discussion. But now, it's got too far. I mean, just go take a look at the off-topic discussion and the amount of forum games there.

 

Seriously? Over half of those are Forum Games. Surely in a Serious forum such as this one, most of the forum games should be locked/deleted, now we have overkill.

 

The only point of Forum Games is to have fun, and to get your post count up. As you can have enough fun with three or four forum games, we have no need of too many Forum Games. So some can be locked. I mean, seriously, what's the point of all of this unneccessary flood? Seriously? It is just useless. All it is doing is to help the people with nothing decent to say on the forum (whether that includes me or not is someone else to decide) to get their post-count up by flooding in the Forum Games. This needs to be stopped.

 

So, what do you think? Should all (or at least, all but the three-most-popular) the Forum Games be locked? Or not? Why?

I would disagree with you on this subject. Forum Games, as you yourself admitted, are for fun, and if you don't want to play in them, ignore them, and focus on the topics you want to. People enjoy playing different forum games, and if you don't, there's no need for you to play in them. Though there are admittedly a lot of forum games, i see no problem in it, cos you can avoid them if you like.
