it looks so slow its gona be owned by rail and thunder, no need for scope.. tanki maps too small.

just like in call of duthy, scope is only for starters

the weapon is for big maps and there are a lot of big maps but nobody plays there because thats are old maps

with shaft the old maps will be popular

 

when you shoot whit shaft you can`t drive

you can shoot trough tanks the first tank get 100% damage the second tank get 50%...

1) It's not 8.7 shots per minute, it can be very high. From what I see after the first shot you can immediately start aiming again and shoot with a near minimum damage in about 1 second.

2) Turret speed sucks. True, but it's not for close range combat and everyone knows that.

3) Correct again, you cannot move.

 

Played it with M3 Viking, M3 Shaft and you know that 90% of the test server is using twins. :P Didn't have much problem aiming though. Long distance aiming was hard.

 

One thing, It's a headache if a friendly tank comes in front of your target. :(

 

So it can have a DPS of 30-60 then? :shock:

found an other problem, lagg is getting worse, especialy when most players are online (4pm utc).

rail is getting hard to play with than, missing 1 out of 15 shots. how do yu want to do that with shaft?

(for the record, i have 8mb/sec download from moscow and a standard 2 jear old pc with plenty of horse power)

since i see other players miss too and drive through other tanks i gues server laggs, my pc tells me its ok

but if rail and thunder are already getting hard to manage shaft must be impossible!?!

If 2.0 version appears, there won't be so much laggs like that. Before it appears, don't buy or don't use it if your pc speed or internet is too slow, low :wink: I have 52 Mbps speed and I have big laggs too-but I think everybody has. It can be the problem of the server, the main computer of the game. But maybe your slow download speed makes it worse.

Surprised it hasn't been said yet, the sound effect for the gun are horrible

Warm up is fine

 

But shooting is about as annoying as it gets. Sounds like a fat lady crashing on a buffet because she was NOM NOM NOM'ing it before the check out.

 

Overheat is pretty lame too. Fingers on a chalkboard.

 

BTW, if it overheats shouldn't that require a cool down period, like 5 - 10 seconds? Looks like the gun can just shoot again with no penalty for trying to make out the energy.

So, shaft got updated at test. Damage for reduced and the aiming got harder when the charge fills up.
