I think that it will be gauss gun. The action principle of gauss gun is similar to railgun - the shell is accelerated by electromagnetic forcess. Both weapons are not laser or other type of energetic weapons.

looking at the prices of the other tier 2 weapons and body's compared to their tier 1 counterparts, the price for an m0 teir 2 weapon is close/more then the m3 price of the tier 1 weapon.

that would put the price of shaft m0 at 4000+ crystals. then m1 would be about 12000 m2 28000 and m3 70000. yes this does make it very expensive but these are the approx prices, if you look at the other tier 2 stuff

I doubt that. Most likely, that this weapon will have slow rate of fire, long range and high damage per single high-powered shot.

 

if thats the case it means if you miss a shot you lose :))

I have no info about any thing about shaft but just from the weapons already ingame i think i have a rough idea how much damage it will do if its recharge is like railgun.

 

shaft m0= 56-70 ______800 crystals

_____m1= 65-81 ______2100

_____m2= 70-100______6500

_____m3= 90-137______21000

 

as you can see m0 shaft is better than m2 rail, but shaft m2 is only a slightly better than m3 rail you need m3 to really surpass m3 railgun

here is some fact. the m3 railgun is only 12 damage per second and the m3 shaft will be 20 damage per second the only unknown is the recharge time. rico and freeze are still top dogs in dps but thunder and shaft have about the same dps

Price: ridiculous. I mean, seriously, considering how reasonable you were damage-wise, I was expecting a realistic price on that as well. Shaft would either be 3000+ crystals and be a railgun+, or be different and cost 800 or so.

M3 Ricochet costs 18000 crystals and it's only a tier 2 weapon. With better weapons come with higher prices. Honestly, 21000 crystals for M3 Shaft is a reasonable price.
