Performance help

 Share

Recommended Posts

Hi, I have a question, (no idea to which topic should I write so I put this here) about performance. I play this game a few weeks, it is really good, but of course I encounter some problems, when 4 or more players take part in a game, so here is my question - how to improve performance of the game, to allow my computer to "hold" more players? Because now when many tanks are in a battle, the game "cuts", or dramatically crashes. By that, I lose crystals, because I can't manage my tank..

I saw here some "alternative" link, but it did not matter which link I used

If I did not explain my problem clearly, please let me know.

Regards.

When you open the stand-alone, click File > Open, then copy/paste one the the URL's listed in that thread I gave (should look like http://tankionline.com/AlternativaLoader.swf?v=3&server=tankionline.com/config-c1.xml&lang=en).

That being said, your computer may be running too many processes. Game Booster is a great program that will shut off unnecessary programs while you are playing. Look here: http://download.cnet.com/Game-Booster/3000-18512_4-10913645.html

Does sound like your ISP, unfortunately. Did the Stand-alone finally work? If not, please try to be specific about what step in my above directions is not working.

Check what? If you are using dial-up, you are plugged into a phone jack. I do not know ISP's in Ireland. Maybe you can ask friends for the options that are available in your area.

That link states you should get up to 7.2Mbsp download speed. You are only getting 0.8Mbsp!!! Unfortunately, they do say "up to" ... and 0.8 is included in "up to." I would complain....and change to something better.

Don't buy Vodafone internet like I did or you will encounter such problems. O2 is also not good
