Many tankers and I are aware of these hackers nowadays

But seriously though, its coming to the point in which things are out of control

Silence was first, then came along Massacre, then Iran, Highland, and now Island

Many people have been very frustrated by these hackers...and...yeah

2. How can us averagees help in any way? (besides reporting ever single person we see)

the hack has been made on an engine. i have seen the engine. it hacks directly into the game and replaces the hackers map with one created in xml by the hacker. i dont understand why silence was removed, as it only takes 10 mins to create a hacked map of any of the cards (maps). the engine then hacks the game and uses the replaced map as explained above. the hack code of the engine needs patching. until they do i am afraid all of the maps will probably become hacked. :(

well if hotwheel did start this i dont care cause he is not banned wich means he didnt hack, all i care about now is who is hackin and how we can stop them besides reportin them, Plus there r to many hackers and i blame 2.0 test, cause since it started hackers thot devs, and stuff worried more about 2.0 so hackers just went carefree thinkin no1 is controllin about tanki 1.0, i wish we could do sometin about dis like make a virus to take down the engine, but i dont know if anyone could do that ._.

no need to take down hotwheels, to hack a server like those of tanki yu need a lot of experience with it, a team of peopel and the right software, ways to sell it under the radar.

 

that tanki was gonna be targetted too inventually. hotwheels just made it happen a little earlyer.

but the problem is not who started spreading.., the creator of the hacks probably jused tanki too but wont hack.

 

because of that i gues their pro's. so tanki will need our support!

but its not good that we cant do annything now but get shot. i have shot a hacker, not the best thing too do!

even with drugges the kill yu. (m1 mamouth drugged dead in 1 thunder shoto;0)

the worry for me is this. the hack can be bought online very easily. you would assume that the first think the devs here at tanki did to combat the hacks was to acquire the hack program and look at the way it works, what code it uses etc. after all its a program that interacts with the tanki engine. so as the hacks are still happening and more and more maps get added to the hack engine, the question is that the devs here have had at least a week to crack the hack engine and patch the code that has compromised the the tanki game engine. does this mean that the hacker has cracked the tanki code, yet the devs here cant crack the hackers code? i think so. this could take a while to fix i fear.

 

until this problem gets fixed something must be done to combat the hackers in the game. mods are overwhelmed at the moment. the most they can do is ban a hacker from chat and boot them from the server! all the hackers do is log back on and join another game. we need more mods, mods need to be able to enter games invisibly and then mods need to be able to IP ban the hackers. a report button i needed also so that mods know what games the hackers are in.

 

at the moment the best thing to do is to make games as high a rank as possible, say WO5 min. most (yes not all) of the hackers are on noob accounts. unfortunate for genuine noob players, but if you are of a high enough rank, start creating games they cant join.

As a corollary to MonkeyMagic's comment, the hackers most likely are using Alternativa's own platform program against itself. Alternativa has allowed people access to it hoping to generate more interest in their application. I would suggest that they restrict such access, and modify that platform. In doing such, the modification of the platform would render the hack-based program useless.
