Let's discuss the Shaft gun!

I bought m1 and its terrible

 

3500 crystals gone to pure waste... I would put shaft in the middle of isida and thunder....

 

Its not worth it for my favorite maps... :thumbdown:

I know a lot of people think that the shaft turret is really bad because it turns slow and sights slow and you can't move while shooting, but think about it. if you want to be close to the enemy or medium distance you use railgun. Shaft turret is purely a sniper weapon. the point of it is so that you can sight better and zoom in and kill tanks on large battles from giant distances. so if you like being close or medium distance, use railgun. but if you like sniping (like me) buy shaft! Tons of times on the map scope someone with a shaft has killed me from the long distance while i didn't manage to hit them.

Nvm, If there is problem to move shaft. Use arrow keys. If "X" and "Z" don't work while zooming (holding space, if ready to shoot stop holding space)

You need to reach to Warrant Officer 4 to get shaft.

It costs 800 crystals, oh my god. And the weapon creator sayed that it's powerful.

They made shaft to be a tier2 weapon, but as now its the worst. With the right adjustements it will be a tier 2.5... but then LOL :lol:

the scope is the only bad thing about it. other then that its great. it'd be better if it was more based on railgun without the scope.

 

well...i like the scope but you should have to press a button to use it...u shouldnt have to use it every time you shoot...if a freeze is next to you you cant even see him its just a blur.

 

also, i use the freeze but when i goof around with my m0 rail, i like to press shoot, then pop out behind a wall before someone can hit me and i kill him...you should be able to move when youre shooting with shaft too

i use the freeze...so i suck with it :) but...over all... 4 out of 10 stars

I really wish there was an option to shoot it with or without the scope. Even in other shooting games you can do that with the sniper rifle. Also has anyone found if the gun actually can shoot through thin walls to deal damage on the other side because I've tried and so far it hasn't worked. I thought the developers said this weapon could shoot through stuff. :(

Its kinda gud in maps like Silence,Fort knox 3(hide somewhere....make sure ur enemy doesn't see u.)

seriously guys, again, this gun is for only hardcore snipers, and is NOT for small or even medium sized maps. its for those who've used railgun and said "hey, i can't even see that tank ALL THE WAY down on the other side of the map" and wished for a better targeting system. its not for those who like to rush or capture the flag since its virtually impossible, even drugged. but in the hands of a good sniper, its a great asset to ur team, OHKO enemies from leagues away, even covering YOU as you capture the flag. even if you were an ace with the rail, this gun calls for a new style of playing, with the old "pop-out-and-shoot" not viable anymore. it gets better as you practice and learn which maps work with shaft and which ones don't. this is a new gun for EVERYONE, but it does get easier the more you play with it
