What do you think? In order for one to be good at tanki, does one have to spend $200 and play 24/7 to be a pro? Does anyone know of a really good player who isn't glued to the screen?

In reply to your main question, I don't think so. Especially you don't need to play 24/7 to be pro. In my opinion, that makes you less pro.

A pro is someone who follows the rules and plays well. No1 needs to be the MOST skilled or be in the top ten. imagine someone banned for ever in the top ten, that is not 'prolike' as a pro knows what to do. i consider myself close to 'pro' i am very well behaved, and very skilled.

Who cares about tank rating or skills...

When i see a marshal join my games i think in my mind "pro"

If i see that he has m0 wasp and m0 smokey I still think "pro"

If i see that his rating is #200000000 i still think "pro"

If i see that his skills are terrible..... Pro..

Pro is Skillz.... not rating, rank, even weapon.

 

With money you can get good weapon, good rating, and thus good rank... but thers nothing that can buy skills, even thouh money help :-)

Seriously people, what do you consider a pro? My definition would be someone who's exceptionally good at the game. This could be because the player is an addict who spends 500 bucks on the game, or it could be because of skill. IMOP, tanki doesn't require that much skill other then aiming.

u say all u have to do is aim? no u have to MAKE it aim inorder to hit de enemy, if u think all u have to do is aim, u r wrong, tatical manuevers r what ppl need rather den 'aiming' and just shoot, what if a someone had da flag and he had a bunch of ppl 20m behind him with ricos, twins, and rails, would u just stand dere and fail to hit dem? or would u jump down, and try to block him the best u could, i would cause my team means EVERYTHIN without dem i would be alone wit no help

If you don't have great weapons, you reach a point where no matter how "smart" you play, it doesn't make a difference. To be a pro do you have to play smart? Or is it really directly related to how much money you spend on the game?

Tanki isn't exactly a field, but it is can be considered a sphere of competition. I would think that they would not need to play too much, they will just need experience. Which is having played tanki for a long time, but not playing lots per day.

Yes I use m1 rail hahaha I never thought of upgrading it but I can use it well if a Marshall has m0rail he know how 2 use it without drugs and a freakingnprivate with m3dont know what 2 do heck he will shoot his own teammates the gun is not what u say of a pro I had smoky and wasp and what I wool a dang WO3 with mammoth and ricochet trying 2 act cool but instead I kill him 7 times pwned

Also I join in 2011 january and Chriswu joined on 2010 5th month ok he has a super slow rate I have 82967 though 80000 yea he join 8 .months before me and what I am ahigh rank if not same I think I am a ok sniper I was good but I was youth and got Viking thunder ricochet and mammoth and I almost never use then I bought ricochet only 2 climb the damn walls i has some attics but crazy I used 500 crastals ion drugs and use them all in one battle and got a total of 9 crystal then use over 200drugs and got then only 18 u am crazy how I fly over ppl and drop a mine I falls on then they die then it says laser dart self destructed I am crazy but smart by pro I think of a a person that knows what he is going 2 do 2kill or get the flag in one part It's the 3 Ts tank turret and tatics I can have a Marshall that don't know what he is doing but have a major with m3 rail and m3 titan that's strong as m0mammaouth but faster and he will beast like a crazy Marshall with m3 mammoth m3 ricochet and drugs with attic and it don't tell the rnk u won't know what hit u for all u know It can be a private or a Marshall all u know is u got your tall beat by somebody
