Tier 3 weaps & tanks

Well ever since i heard about shaft coming out i understood most weaps/tanks have a second copy of it but more modified. So i thot of tier 3, yes it mite sound crazy but nothing is impossible. I would love to see tier 3 weaps and tanks in the future and they would all be more op in there own maps. i have lots of ideas for devs for tier 3 firebird/freeze, smoky/thunder, and twins/rico.

 

Post any ideas u have, ur opinions, and even say if u like or dislike this :3

Once Tanki gets about 15 weapons or more, it would...lose its value. Some diversity is good, but too much is, well, too much!

we only have 9 now, but idk, i'd rather they just get 2.0 out, it'll be like having new weapons, since the actual weapons themselves look SO MUCH COOLER! seriously have u seen them? they're so dang new and improved than these old ones, i don't think we'll be complaining when it comes out!

More tanks is a bad idea IMO. Rumored Emperor tank (tier 2.5 Dictator) [supposedly] has the same speed as hornet with the health of a mammoth. But the price would be insane! But think about it... Things like that will ruin the game for non-buyers. I say, no more weapons/tanks. Everyone seems happy with what we have now.

After the tier 2.5 tank hull is released (So called Emperor), then Tier 3 ones will add balance to the game just as the tier 2 ones did.

 

Tier 3 weapons and hulls are nothing new. It has been brought up many times before, even by the devs, and there will probably be a tier 3 set of hulls and weapons in the future (possibly next year). It is always fun to think of new weapons though. :)

 

I have came up with a weapon called the Pulsar, which fires a pulsing, focused laser beam all the way down sight like the Railgun/Shaft and does a bit of damage with each pulse. It has the ability to pass through thin walls yet loses power when doing so.

 

Another weapon, the tier 3 version of the Firebird (I haven't thought of a name yet), sprays corrosive acid outward and causes the tanks it hits to keep taking a small amount of damage for a short time even after they are no longer being sprayed at. Think of the tank being poisoned for a few seconds or so.

 

I also have an idea for a mortar weapon, but it still needs work.

Here r my ideas: Minimunm rank to get tier 3 weaps = major.

tier 3 twins/rico

 

Beamer

Details: weapon has bouncing BEAMS, it is like rail + rico combined. Beams can go thru at the most 3 enemies, beams r 5meters long and can bounce 5 times at the most. Beams can bounce off tanks 1 time making a ricochey affect on enemy tanks.

 

Acidrey(tier 3 firebird/freeze)

mach/damage/gradsecs/cost/range/poisonlastingsecs/poisondamage

M0: 24, 79.2, 1300, 25m, 5, 5

M1: 26, 81.5, 2900, 25m, 6, 6

Details: turret fires green chemicals like acid toxin clouds. it will melt any disolve any enemy in within 25m :twisted: , When other tanks get hit bye its acid toxin clouds its tank becomes more and more green, the more greener it is the more damage the acid hurts it when it is infected(so when turret is not shooting enemy tank the green will show that the tank is getting hurt and stop when it is all gone of the toxic green)

Yes I agree. I think tanki would go a bit crazy with too many weapons or tanks. And I even think that 15 is too much, 11 would be more around the amount I would find the limit.

Point one: In tanki as we know it at the moment, Tier three weapons and tanks just aren't feasible. What, 200k or more crystals for a weapon? Yet that is what Tier Three will cost. No, tier three just isn't realistic atm.

 

Point Two: Yet we need Tier three. How will tanki become the most popular online game that there is (I hope that that is the devs' main aim) with only 9-12 weapons? It just isn't possible.

 

Point Three: So we need a tier three, yet not in the tanki balance we have at the moment.

 

Point Four: So what are the options? There are two. First option, vastly increase the funds given to higher ranks, so that tier three becomes affordable above major. This will increase the rank differences, but make tanki far more feasible. The other option is:

 

Point Five: Tanki 2.0. I have always thought (and still do think) that the main reason for 2.0 is the fact that we really need some rebalancing of prices and specs to include Tier Three/four/five. So I think that in 2.0, the gap between the tiers will decrease drastically, but tiers will still exist but not as we know them now. They will become different, but still tiers. And then tier three/four/five will come in and make tanki as good as they want to be.
