Yes, but with out an isida, will a rail gun be able to take down 2 sets of twins with out boosting??? or something to that effect?...I was in a fk3 map just now and i was great with my m3 twins and m1 mammoth, but with the m3 isida behind me, when we boosted, we kicked some serious but!!...we completely undermined their entire strong hold with a 2 man army...it was fun!!!

Railgun all the way. All the way. A pro m3 railgun will get more points, more kills, more kdr, and even more flag captures than a just as pro m3 isida would in most games.

It all depends how you play, and what situation you in.

If it's long range, kind of obvious.

But even at close range a skilled railgun can kill a isida.

guys, ummm... isida... but rail is also very good, they are both good but i wud use isida, i love that gun, its good for alot of things, everyone loves an isida on their team always healing them, you get xp very fast and your always on the top of the list to get alot of crystals but if you have alot of skill with the rail gun, its also very good for you.. so you have 2 very good guns on your hands so do somthing good with them.. :) gud luck

Agreed a rail can get more Kills and better K/D, but in points and flags matter isida is far better than rail.

Really? Ok, flag captures maybe for isida. In fact, probably for isida. But points-wise.... if the railgun and isida are at max pro (if you can measure pro-ness in any way) then the railgun will win.

Yeah, but you only have a certain amount you can heal a person. You are limited, and your points aren't actually all that much. But compare that to a railgun: if you use uber skill and nail every enemy constantly (which you can if you are pro) then you will win nd get more points than the isida.

Rail gun all the way for me i love isida but i don't like the lack of kills you get with it. with the rail i can get flags to with an isida behind a m3 rail is a very strong combination and can hold strategic points in the map wile other team members catch the flag. also Rail can take out multiple targets with one shot, if there is two or more M3 rails working together, they can take out even the biggest and hardest Pro tanks rushing into your base.

Not being egotistic here, but I'm pretty good at sniping, so the obvious choice would be a Railgun for me, CURRENTLY, I have an M0 Railgun and M0 Isida, and I use the Railgun with an M0 Titan and Isida with an M1 Hunter.

 

An Isida can heal and is alright at offence, but in terms of range, it's too poor, depending on what type of map you play in. The Isida is good for healing and alright at offence, but in my opinion, the Railgun earns me more points as I play maps such as Combe, Monte Carlo, and Silence the most, and they are mostly good sniping maps.

 

So yeah, I'm better at the Railgun than the Isida, even though it gives me easy points by healing.

I played with rail since the rank u can get it M0, i can say im quite experienced Rail player, but yesterday i got M3 isida. Played in Scope map (best for long range) and got barerly best killer and a ratio >2.00, ended in second place, first was another isida. Im not a pro isida player since i just got it, but i realize how much isida is better than rail.

 

Points u get by kill depens on ur rating and enemy's, its same for isida and rail, but isida can get point healing teammates. Not to mention that in a even game Rail wont be capturing any flag. So, Rail is good for kill and uber K/D, but Isida is overall better. Period.

I'm not talking about overall here. Isida is the most lazy weapon in the game and the way I see it, you don't need all that much skill to do average on it. Railgun with no skill = Total fail.

 

I'm talking about uber pros with railgun and isida, the ones who are just too good, far too good. Now those people, I am pretty sure that the railgun will do a lot better.

Rail M3 , really this weapon is amazing with him you can do everything and low isida amunition and less of kill ...

I like both of these guns but if I wanted to get a lot of kills I would use Railgun.

FYI I have both at M3; I use my Isida too much of a offensive weapon :P.
