Self- Destructing to get out of a kill!

I for one think that something needs to change. There seem to be alot of players out there that will readily self-destruct by driving off the map, of hitting the self-destruct button, rather then losing to the other player. I've seen this in several instances, and I think this is cheating! What my suggestion is, that when you self-destruct in a map to just get out of a death, then the last person who hit them should be awarded the kill, and it should count toward the total in a TDM, or otherwise!

If some jerk doesn't want you to kill them, then don't let them kill you! Leave the game! I accidentally fall off every now and again too! Backing away from an isida in farm is an easy way to find yourself falling accidentally.

What if a noob accidentally, and i didn't know that, i jumped of a ramp with isida,and couldn't get up. i self destructed and it changed to a kill.?

X_X I do that when I'm bored. Just to annoy the other guy. But yea, Not in TDM though :P Because then it's called bad manners.

 

I know "one" guy who really hates them though. The map where it's most annoying, is CAMP! ._.

I often purposely self-destruct, and I find it part of the game. Its a skill to learn when to self-destruct. No offence meant, but I hate this idea :thumbdown:

This is just a thought I had, because I get annoyed with people who do this. I don't intend it to negatively affect the noob players who didn't realize, but rather the ones who should know better, and play the game with honor! I understand the point made also about quit and don't play with the other players who do this, however, I guess I keep trying to hone my skills, so that I can get them despite what my opinion is of how they play! Anyway this topic was only to see what other thought, not cause hard feelings! Its also good to get feedback from other players, to see how they would combat this!

or tanki can add this method.. when the tank fliped the self destructing is much more faster and when its not fliped its like slower (like they did with shaft.. when u fliped u cant shoot..)

i use thunder m2 and i always self destruct so that the opponent can't kill me

self destructing with rico and thunder is rather convienient
