How to Decrease the lag in your computer for tanki (or other game) and for Screen vidoe Capture

Follow what im doing and do it at your own!

P.S those steps decrease the lag by 80-100% lag when you using program such a hyper cam and etc.. (CamStudo sux, so you will still lag :mrgreen: )

Changing color mode:

 

1. Right click on Desktop

2. Select Screen resolution

3. Under Change to appearance of your displays click Advanced settings

4. This will open a driver/video card specific control panel. For my ATI video card the color settings are located under the Monitor tab.

5. Select High Color (16 bit)

 

 

Changing visual effects:

 

1. Right click on My Computer

2. Select Properties

3. In the bottom left corner - under See also - click on Performance Information and Tools (or enter in the location bar: << Control PanelAll Control Panel ItemsPerformance Information and Tools >>

4. On the sidebar click Adjust visual effects

5. On the first tab select Let Windows choose what's best for my computer (the first option)

 

 

In addition, disabling Aero might reduce the lagging even more.

Anyway I have many ways to help Tanki Online have less lags. For the people who are experienceing(don't know how that word spell lols) lags, don't do anything like move your tank or fire and etc.... Just don't do anything!!! Even chating!!! And if you guys have Skype or Yahoo! Messanger(don't know how to spell that also), put it offline or sign out, because those programs use lots of internet speed.

 

If everyone does this, Tanki Online will be lag free!!! :mrgreen:

first by lag we ment that your computer start to freeze and you cant play normally,

so yea what you said kinda right (the start i didnt understand)

those that got open xat/Skype/msn/Icq

close the programs (close not sign out) because they make your computer work slow and bad

dont open so many tabs in your browser

dont download anything

dont open videos or movies

I can play Tanki Online and Platform Racing 3 (Flash Games 3D) at the same time withouth lagg, use a screen recorder & listen music in iTunes with the messenger open and my computer works perfectly well... the only thing that the people need is a better computer.

 

I have Mac OS X Snow Leopard 10.6.4 with Intel Core i7, 1 Terabyte of Hard Drive & 10 Gigabyte in RAM, u guys... SUCK :)

 

Also... a Windows 7 with 6 Gigabytes of RAM, 500 GigaBytes of Hard Drive & Intel Core i7

to speed up laod even more, when yusthink it can still be faster.

yu jused task manager to stop all unneeded programs, got full processing speed for tanki?

yu havn't, virusscans like avg, mcafee, norton and so on keep eating procesing speed. the only way to this is to go to the advansed setting and activate game mode. (most times it is running already!!) but it only activates when yu play your game full screen.

thats when your pc is inn gaming mode. this reduces lagg even more and as yu know all the little bits help.

(we already mentioned the inn game settings spammer?)

 

is tanki is still lagging or it looks like the commands yu send to your tank are delayed, get a cabled keyboard, usb for vista and windows 7. no diffrence bitween usb 2.0 and 3.0

Try installing Windows 7 on your Mac instead of a PC that have lees memory and make sure you still have some space on your 1 Terabyte HDD.

Now if Windows 7 is installed in your Mac set it up then make sure that you have Google chrome in your Windows 7 then you can play with out lagging...

 

If you don't have Mac well.. ugh.. just download Google chrome... :XD:

Anyways -.- most lags these days is caused server side, little players can do about it. The servers hasnt been loading textures correctly, servers have been crashing, losing connection on large maps (esp. silence) and all the such.
