I'm hated by most of TI, too. I just shrug off the insults and continue forward. Don't leave. A few haters shouldn't be enough to make you quit, but if it is you shouldn't have left TI in the first place.

I'd do well to let this thread pass me by, but the prod is too strong. "Hatred?" Who gives a flip?!? The premise of Tanki is destruction of opponents for gain. That's hardly a place for love to blossom. More importantly, why care a smidgen, a skosh, a tidbit or a dribble about what someone you've likely never met nor ever will "thinks or feels" about you? I know many Tankers are young hence impressionable about the opinions of others. That's unfortunate, and, I pray as you mature, you'll outgrow this proclivity. Go to a mirror. Look. Do you respect and like what you see? That's the ONLY opinion that matters, and, if you don't like what you see, start. It's where you'll live and with whom you'll live for the span of your life. Play the game like war: honorably, ethically, relentlessly and with joyful fervor.

 

I've been told I'm hated prior to becoming a Mod and many more times since. It has all the impact of a fart in a hurricane. I "meet" and observe players I respect and ones I hold in contempt with many in between in that realm of obscurity. How I feel about them has no effect on them whatsoever. Same in the reverse. You have a name in the game. With it you've built a reputation same as in life. Keep it; play it. I've observed many Tankers who take pleasure in having several accounts. Why? Because they're not serious about building one well, and/or they're ducking, dodging and hiding from the less than honorable reputations they've earned with one or some. You'll get no experience or Crystals for being loved, admired, esteemed or whatever fatuous emotions come your way. Play your game; keep your name. Be known for one who cares not one whit what others think of you as long as you serve your highest ideals.

 

I've seen you play. You have no reasonable cause to desert your name. Of course it's your call, but I differ for reasons sufficiently stated here.
