I hope that they have automatic translation in chat that fit into the language setting of that specific tankionline player. So in other words lets say that someone who speaks russian will see the whole chat as russian while someone in the someone in maybe the same battle sees all the chat in english. Also can anyone direct me to page on how to become a mod with all the requirements included in the page

Even if they could get a translator into the chat function(you do know that there other languages than russian and english spoken in there at the same time, about different things, right?) they are not nearly as good now as they would need to be to translate properly.

One thing to help would be to make the game more newbie-friendly. A lot of my friends have given up, because they got bored by the lack of exiting graphics/lack of weapons/lack of cool paints at newbie ranks. I know that you want rewards for higher ranks, but I would suggest:

-Maps like Polygon, Ping-Pong, Fort Knox II, Massacre, and Fort Knox III going back to the newbie ranks like they once were. When you moved Polygon to Recruit ranks, I know for a fact that you probably won people over and kept them playing tanki by the fact that they realised there was better map props out there. If you get the Iran props at the lowest ranks, then loads of newbies will stay, I'm sure.

-Have an option of paints to start with. How about being able to choose to start with Red, Green, or Blue paint? And the added option of "Black" and "White" for five crystals, still at recruit.

-Again, an option of weapons and tanks will help newbies to enjoy it. Nerf Titan and Twins somewhat, and have the option of three weapons/tanks to start with. It will be a hard thing to change, I know, but the fact is that it will win people over in the long-term.

-And then make two/three more weapons unlocked by Staff Sergeant. Tanks aren't so important, but having a wide variety of weapons will make newbies enjoy the game more. I know this will be hard, but again it will be worth it.

-Is immediate playing such a great thing? Most other games have a sort of tutorial beforehand. Maybe being able to get a couple of kills against computerised tanks and getting your garage going (with the suggestions above) before going into battles against others would be better.

-More detailed controls. I'm not sure if this has now changed with the new loading symbols, but having pop-ups on the screen saying things like "Press Z and X to turn turret" and "Press Page Up and Page Down to change camera view" will seriously help newbies to grasp the controls. One of my friends had so little idea of the controls that he spent his first ten minutes playing trying to get his character out of his tank. Not surprisingly, he didn't even rank up to Private.

-Focus more on Newbies with updates. The existing players will not like it, but the fact is that you will get more players by being more newbie-friendly. For a fact I know that I was extremely close to giving up tanki before Staff Sergeant. After that, far less people leave tanki. If you manage to make tanki so that newbies stay to staff sergeant, then I am sure they will stay all the way up to the higher ranks.

-It would help to make loading faster for newbies, but I'm not sure how possible that is.

Of course, these are only my opinions and I do not expect these all to be implemented into tanki. But these are things I would do to make tanki more newbie-friendly than it is at the moment.

I am sorry Skitee, but I am too lazy to read the WHOLE STORY..

I read it and I agree we need it more friendly

It would be great to have more english speakers playing on Tanki Online. For example during the game we could chat in english lang... Currently the situation is pathetic because one has to choose between using google translator or playing silently while others chat and enjoy their way through the game.

So i suggest we do something to help our situation like inviting all our friends, classmates, colleagues, teammates, brothers and sisters into the game

There are many ways to do this and you can even earn "Crystals" in just for inviting someone

How to invite

1. Use the "add friend" button next to the "Garage" button, press "invite by email" , the more friends you invite the more crystals* you will earn Forever!

2. You can join http://www.facebook.com/TankiOnline.en and send the link to your facebook friends.

3. You can tell them face to face.

So its all up to us.

Will be waiting for your positive comments :)

I love This Game So i told a friend and told it to his friend and he to it to his whole vilage

But There All Not English :XD:

There are a bunch of problems with what you are trying to say.

They are better off making new battle fields, guns and hulls for the lower leveled people, there is a problem with that too they have to keep people playing and buying crystals by giving them stuff to look forward to. The best they can do on the battle field for newbies is make it so only people the ranks recruits to privates are allowed in those battles but there is even a problem they have to keep enough people in the battle for the newbies or they will loose interest.

Graphics will be fixxed in tanki2.0

In the new tanki there will be a tutourial.

loading is supposed to be faster on tanki 2.0

You just have to read the in development section.

and about the google translate thing it is not perfect, so when it is built in if you type in 'oh, that's cool', if it is translated to French or Russian it might mean to them 'oh, that's fresh'. Every language has their own differences, I know in French you have to say different things to people in authority, like asking how are you, you say 'Comment ça va' to your freinds, but 'Comment allez-vous' to teachers... So that will also mess everything up because google translate defaults to comment allez-vous and that is not always what you want.

When ever I see a language I don't know, I just disregard it. More English people would be better, but you can't force people to like a game.

I'm Portuguese but English speaking.

One thing that I do find frustrating is that, most of the times, when I try to "search" for Western European Players (who normally are able to speak/write in English) I tend to find only Eastern European Players not that able or not able at all or Germans, with all due respect, who prefer not to speak in another language.

I'm proud to be able to speak/write in Portuguese, English, Spanish, French and understand most Italian and some German even.

Am willing to join Teams of people with whom I can speak so that We can plan strategies for the Game Plays...

But playing by intuition or playing by myself after watching the game plays of my team "mates" is frustrating...

Can't we add specific language servers or a language "filter" to the Chat Screens?
