Formula of user rating calculation changed

We have changed the formula of user rating calculating. Now it doesn't count crystals bought for real money. The rating of all users will be recalculated in two days.

No, you can't. It's about the mechanism of calculation.

Actually, it means a donating player won't be placed at a disadvantage in comparison with non-dotating players. Earlier donating players received high rating because of buying crystals. And as you know, the higher rating you have, the less points you get for a kill..

Why not? It can't be that difficult.

But you need to know some variables first: experience, number of captured flags, earned crystals (and got in daily bonuses?) and number of destroyed, lost, healed tanks.

1. Your rating is the grey number.

2. The green number is not your rating, it's your position in the Hall of Fame (based on your rating).

3. Your rating was calculated as SQRT(experience_points*(kills/deaths))+(earned_crystals+purchased_crystals)/200.

4. Now your purchased crystals are excluded from the calculation, so the current formula is SQRT(experience_points*(kills/deaths))+(earned_crystals)/200.

Prepare to start yet another COMPLAINTS TOPIC on this too !! The HURT EGO CROWD will be out in force. I'm not here for my ego. I am here for the fun. As far as I am concerned the D/L info is just wasted space on my battle screen and user's page. It could be devoted to more useful info like friends online, current number of kills (remove it from the main screen), another useful button, etc.

 

I hope they do change the scoring system to something similar to the old system. 10 points for everyone, regardless of rank, was not my favorite. I made a lot of points knocking off higher ranks when I first started the game. It was a challenge and very profitable at times.
