Regarding MAC computer.

Game play is at a real disadvantage when tanks overturn on my MAC. Mine is a Quad Pro, fully capable of any internet demands, but in the game I'm unable to commit suicide. Hence I'm forced to leave the game, my points, my potential awards and my progress or wait in hopes a fair play minded or aggressive opponent will burn my tank for a restart within that specific game. The same applies to falling in one of the holes on courses. Fortunately there exist many fair minded players who help, but the delay frustrates and denies ability to support one's team. So many good thing exist in this game. I hope you who debug might fix this for your MAC clients, and thank you.

Do you use Firefox or Safari or Chrome, MadDog21? I was wondering what your frame rates usually are using Firefox?

did you follow the suggestions I've provided in your topic? I know quite a few people that play the game on a mac computer and do not see a difference in frame rates between browsers, so it seems to be your local problem.

Ok, then its a "local problem" for at least me AND "bowler256" apparently. As for "following suggestions" I didn't see any suggestions for me to do anything, just a thought that Skype may cause problems for Firefox and this Game. If that's true, many many people use Skype and I would certainly not choose Tanki over Skype, geez.

Please re-read wht I've said... it's not skype, it's the firefox extension for it that causes low fps in flash-based applications. It's a pretty well-known bug.

Ok, now thats good info, :) thx. However, in my case, I don't have a Skype extension. I will check out one I do have for Vuze toolbar, and see if that has anything to do with it, but like I said, this happened without any changes on my part , so.....

Sorry. I'd not checked this thread since I received such a succinct, suitable answer. I haven't noted my frame rates, but I will, and I'll post when I have some knowledge of that. The mix of Skype and Tanki really confounds me. I don't run Skype when in the game. If others do, I'd appreciate knowing that. It would be grand sport to have voice commo during game play providing distinct advantages. I run Tanki on Safari. It's worked fine for me, so I've not given it a go on Firefox, and I certainly wouldn't think of using IE. I don't use IE for anything. I'll endeavor to check in here more frequently. Good hunting!

Like MadDog, I'm using Safari for playing Tanki on a Mac. While usually surfing with FireFox, the FPS rate with FireFox and Opera was just to low in certain maps. With Google Chrome - which I tried about 3 month ago - the FPS rate was good, but for whatever reason, I could not pick up flags and power kits sometimes.
