Idea: Cancel Self-Destruct

I'd like to be able to cancel self destruct. I had 5 mines then pressed page up but my finger hit delete and I couldn't cancel it.

I know your fustration but any one could cheat easily if you could.

 

eg.

your keep turning it on and off so he first time you

see a tank you shoot and when on low health let the timer go... there fore taking there point :(

Bluelight, I doubt seemefly is talking about "pause self-destruct" but "cancel self-destruct". They are different things. If it is "Pause" then yes, bad idea, it can be abused. But if it is "Cancel" so that when you continue you start your countdown again, then it is fine. I like this idea :thumbup:

So do I; to often I fall and press Self-Destruct, but then get back up and die.

Not a bad idea. It can be frustrating when you handle a situation that you pressed the button in, but it`s still too late. :)

As far as I know and all the "movies" that I have seen. When did they ever cancel a self destruct protocol?

 

Self destruct is supposed to be a safety procedure if the enemy takes over your tank in "Real life" therefore it can't be cancelled.

As far as I know or have seen, there is no such gun that can freeze other tanks or repair itself by shooting at enemies.

This is a good topic, since this is a ''Game'' we should have a cancel button before you destruct don't you think?

agreed, and i have never seen a tank drive slower than a turtle.

This ruins the game, what if someone is about to self destruct when an enemy comes and he is killed, it would ruin him being killed to as he made a mistake. Self Destruct button helps us learn what to press, and what NOT to press ;)

I like it. Even tho, you probably can't cancel a self-destruct in real life... Many times I flipped, *Clicks Delete* 5...4..Someone flips me over. :oops: 3..2..1 AHHH!!! *KABOOM*

Look i dont want to be mean or anything. But double damage/armour. Paints giving protection aint so real either.

It's a game, i think this is a good idea though.

It like a car also , If you accidently push Selft Destruct on a car you cannot cancel it .

When u cancel self-destructing, you cant come alive again when no-one kills you (when ure flipped over)

I think self destruct should be cancelled. Maybe if you press delete again it cancels....?
