The "Good Looking" Damage

Hello to all reading my post! Today, I am going to talk about my fustration about never be able to get the highest potential damage with my garage things. So today, I went in a game with my firebird which was M3 and I used my whole clip on a M3 Dictator, wasn't I meant to be able to kill him? I know my tanks well, M3 Dictator is 120 hp, and M3 Firebird does 24 dmg/sec for 5 seconds. I used my whole clip! How did he survive it? He paint had no protection to Firebird. Another thing is that when I was versing a Warrant Officer 1 (M0 Viking) who I think was afk or typing in an Island match, I had to use my WHOLE yellow bar to kill him? 20 damage smacked off? I only just killed him 0.5 seconds more after my whole clip was used up.

 

Then again, when I use my M3 Smoky (8-24 dmg) I can never seem to kill M0 Titan's and M0 Dictators in 3 shots. It is always 4 shots if I am very lucky, 5 shots usually, and 6 shots at long range. Even when I go into combe maps, it takes 4 M3 Smoky shots to mow down a M0 Wasp. (I can tell what is what when I see it :))

 

My last thing is that my M2 Railgun can never ever kill a 60 hp tank when it is full hp (no protection OR double armour). I launch a firebird range hit, and can never seem to kill then in 1 shot, even though it is 45-67 damage. It also seems that the M2 Railgun will only do 50 damage at maximum, because when I was in a deathmatch, I saw a person with M0 Titan, and I shot him, and then when the cooldown for spawning was happening, I saw a M3 Twins person come up and shoot the titan with 4 shots of his twins, before the Titan got destroyed. By the way, I can only kill a 60 hp tank with my M2 Railgun, 6/100 times. (I've counted the kills I have had and how many I have killed with one shot)

 

So please tanki, if you could make the chance of the railgun to have a little bit more chance of killing a 60 hp tank more, I would be grateful!

you attacked him from far range, far range=less damage...

try to attack him 5-10 metters from you (the firebird limit is 20 i think)

Depends on the range of the weapon. If you hit the ideal spot it wil kill them. But that spot is hard to hit.

He was probably on a tiny bit of HP.

Hmmm...Im always at close range around firebird range when killing with Railgun...never seems to be able to ONe hit KO a 60 hp tank

Railgun, Pure luck

Any other gun, the damage vastly depends on the range. Thus the reason that Thunder shots hurt like a smoky at long range.
