Friendly fire - not with railgun?

Hello,

 

in battles where friendly fire is activated, I noticed that I almost never can hurt teammates with my railgun (m2).

Why is that?

 

Not that I'm intending to kill my teammates, but sometimes there is an ***** in battle who starts to kill me for whatever reason (just happened, stole flag from me), and then I am not able to defend myself. He kills me again and again, and I can just watch :evil:

it does do damage it is just that you have to make sure that he is directly aligned in height with railgun it would be best if he has a tank like dictator or mammoth and you make sure that he is just about going up something and you shoot him like (click this link to image) http://adf.ly/2nzCm (click "skip ad" in top right once ads time done)

Friendly fire with railgun does not work if your tank is taller than the person you are shooting at's tank, except in occasional moments (when the enemy tank is on a slope or something). This is because your railgun shot does not automatically drop-down, as it does with enemies, for team-mates in friendly fire.

 

I know it can be annoying not to hurt people with friendly fire, but the thing is, why would you want to friendly fire anyone anyway? It is never a good thing to hurt your allies, and even if some of your teammates are attacking you, there is no reason to strike back. It is against the rules to purposely friendly-fire your team-mates.

Lol just takes like a split second of extra effort but it is possible to hit tanks smaller than you.

Just drive forward and pull-back when the short goes and you'll get em.

It's all the rail gun models, it's because your comrade could have his gun turret down lower than yours

dude, move forward a bit towards him, and you will tilt forward a little, and shoot when your tilted.

There is no auto-aim for friendlies, so when you shoot out of a railgun, the shot goes over the physical model of a friendly tank and no damage is recorded. If you time your shot and coordinate it with moving your tank in a way that would result in shooting right when your tank leans forward from stopping, you will hit the friendly tank and cause damage. In fact, this was once used as a loophole in the game rules by a player named Deeeep, who levelled while healing his team in a game where only one team was present and friendly fire was on. Also, it is a common way of having fun for clans - while you wait for your team to gather for a clan war, you ride around and shoot your teammates trying to flip them.

it does to damage its because the railgun is ponted in the tank to do damage not on the gun place thingy but anyway it because if u shoot on the gun it goes through the gun soo hit it in the tank !!!

Go and tell the rules to the people who kill their teammates to steal the flag from them, to make the points by themselves.

Such people should be banned from the game for one year.

um, no you can go forward (so you tilt a bit) and shoot ^_^
