Railgun to Thunder?

Now, I've just won 18,000 crystals thanks to Mr Tanki Online and I'm overjoyed :P But what I want to know is this:

 

I've been using Railgun m3 for six months now, and I've learnt a lot of the tips and tricks of the book. Suddenly, I have 18,000 crystals in my bank, and I can just about get M3 Thunder (Ok, in 1000 crystals, but still....). The thing is, I just don't know how much of my skills from railgun can be transferred to thunder.

 

What I want to hear from is people who used m3 railgun for a while (M3! Not m0,1, or 2; I've found the skills for them were very different from m3), and then switched over to thunder. How much of the skills were different, and how much of the skills can be transferred over easily?

I primarily used m3 isida and m3 railgun before I got my m3 thunder. Trust me, thunder is better by far, and your ratio can be better than you could ever get with rail.

you dont have a bank, we haven't made that yet ^_^ and good for you you got 18000 crystals id cry with joy for that thats 160$ worth abouts :O

Well it will take a couple of weeks maybe 1 or 2 months at the most so switch but for me that was the best idea for me.

Nice bump man.... the issue was sorted ages ago, now I've got my m3 thunder and I've made the switch well enough now. :)

Thunder é mais fácil de usar (de perto), mata mais rápido e carrega rápido também (m3). a dificuldade será lidar com ricochetes, Isida e freezers. e tentar sempre lembrar que você tem o splash. this is the right forum.

I use M3 Isida or M2 Freeze on top of a M2 Hornet. I've always been good at using rail and thunder for some reason, but never upgraded them. I was wondering if I should get a paint or get M1 Thunder and save for M2..
